“That makes sense! Only a beautiful woman like her could ive birth to such a pretty little girl!” Dex remarked as the rest of the Wraiths chuckled in smug satisfaction.

“You’re all monsters! Even if we die today, the Legion will laughter every single one of you and avenge us!” Eunice shouted with a mix of fury and helplessness in her voice.

“Look at you, trying to make threats even when you’re about to die!” Dex scoffed. “The Legion is a world away right now. They can’t save you–or avenge you!”

Celia continued to cry out for Roxy, whose eyelids slowly fluttered open. She was still feeling quite dazed. Through her blurry vision, she thought she spotted Celia.

“Take a look at this little girl, sir…”

“She’s a fine little thing, alright. Take her to my cabin as well!” Erasmus demanded with a cackle, the perverted look in his eyes intensifying.

Everyone present drew in a breath. Only then did they recall that Erasmus had some unique fetishes as well. Could it be that… he would even sink his claws into a five–year–old child?

“This little girl is lucky to have gained your attention, sir!” Dex remarked fawningly.

“Don’t you dare do it, you monster!”

“If you dare do something like this, you’ll face divine punishment for your actions!”

Both Hector and Eunice shouted, their eyes red with fury.

“How noisy!”

With a flick of his hand, Erasmus knocked out both Hector and Eunice.

“Make sure no one disturbs me for the next few days!” Erasmus commanded.

“Understood, sir.”

Erasmus reached out to grab Celia, eager to have his fun with her.

But all of a sudden, he felt a chilling surge of murderous intent that came shooting right at the crown of his head. Before he could even put his hand on Celia, a figure shot out and scooped her into his arms.

Celia let out more muffled cries as she called out to Ashton. Her teary eyes were shining as she clutched him tightly.

“Don’t be scared, Celia. I’m here now,” Ashton said gently.

After planting a kiss on Celia’s forehead, he turned back around to look at Erasmus. In his eyes, that short, ugly piece of trash was a dead man walking!

The nerve of him to set his sights on Celia! Even if he died in thousand times over, it still wouldn’t be enough to pay for what he intended to do!

“Who are you?” Erasmus questioned, his expression turni grim.

He hadn’t realized there had been a martial arts expert hidden inside the cabin! Someone who could remain hidden from him couldn’t be an ordinary man. Moreover, the murderous intent from earlier also made him subconsciously take a step back as he eyed Ashton warily.

“Ashton?”

Roxy’s vision was too hazy. She was seeing duplicates, but he vaguely caught sight of Ashton. Immediately, her heart became at ease, and she fainted once more.

Ignoring Erasmus, Ashton undid Celia’s restraints and gently pulled off the duct tape covering her mouth. “Daddy! I missed you so much. I wasn’t scared at all. I knew you’d definitely come to save me!” Celia proudly declared as she hugged him tightly.

Ashton felt a warmth filling up his heart. She was indeed his greatest joy and comfort. That was precisely why he felt even more guilty for ever letting this happen to her. The murderous feeling in his heart grew as well.

Initially, he wanted to avoid as much trouble as possible by leaving after rescuing Celia. After all, he didn’t want to make enemies with the Obsidian Council, who backed up the Wraiths. That was the largest criminal organization in the world!

But now, not even God can save Erasmus and the lowlifes from the Wraiths.

“I’m the one who’s going to kill all of you!” Ashton answered Erasmus‘ question.
