Chapter 505
Samantha’s face immediately turned a shade of bright red.
She’d always been a conservative woman, not even letting Jay hold her hand. But now, she was taking her top off in front of Ashton, a man she despised. She was standing in front of him with nothing but her black bra covering her ample chest.
“Hurry up!” Samantha demanded, her body shaking slightly as she gave him a warning. “You’d better not cross the line, or I’ll make you pay!”
“And how do you intend to make me pay?” Ashton remarked with a chuckle as he studied Samantha’s Aether constitution.
He had to admit that Samantha was impossibly charming. She was practically born to be an actress. Just a fleeting glance from her was enough to bewitch others. Her sparkling eyes seemed to hold countless stories, waiting to be slowly revealed.
She had the figure of a bombshell as well. Now that her top was off, it was clear that her body was second to none.
Samantha could sense the heat in Ashton’s eyes. Her heart rate shot up as she instinctively took a step back, looking visibly flustered.
It now occurred to her that she had no means of fighting back against Ashton. Now that she’d signed with Evermore Media, he could even stall her career!
Was he seriously thinking about taking advantage of her?
Sweat began beading across Samantha’s face before rolling down her smooth and supple skin, making her look even more alluring.
“Relax. I may be physically attracted to you, but I’m not about to take advantage of you. I’m just going to expel the cold energy from your body,” Ashton said.
Samantha let out a small sigh of relief before glaring fiercely at Ashton. However, at the very next moment, she stiffened as he placed his hand on her shoulder.
Her instinctive reaction was to get his hand off, but he barked, “Stop squirming! I’m about to perform an acupuncture treatment on you right now. Keep this up, and I won’t be responsible if anything bad happens.”
Samantha pursed her lips. Couldn’t he at least take a better attitude toward her?
After pulling out six needles, Ashton used the Ninefold Arcane Technique to poke them into Samantha. He swiftly zeroed in on the cold energy and started drawing it out.
All at once, the needles started to quiver, and Samantha’s face scrunched up in pain.
“When the cold energy is pulled out, it’ll try to resist, like a beast attempting to escape its trap. It’ll be quite painful, but you need to bear with it,” Ashton said, his tone softening a little.
He channeled some of his energy into Samantha through his palm, which was still pressed against her shoulder. The energy from him began to neutralize the cold within her.
She felt a warm current spreading through her body, as if Ashton’s heat had enveloped her, easing the pain and
the chill.
After half an hour, the wisps of icy cold energy started coming out through the silver needles.

Samantha’s brows slowly unfurled. The cold energy in her abdomen that had tortured her this whole time seemed to be gone, and she felt completely relaxed now.
But soon, she felt a surge of heat that seemed to set her completely on fire. She started sweating profusely. Out of nowhere, she let out a soft moan before crumpling into Ashton’s arms.
“Sammy! Open up!”
“I’ve Just then, someone began hammering urgently on the door. Sounding both frantic and drunk, Jay cried out, missed you, Sammy! I miss you so much! Open the door!”
Jay’s voice made Samantha jump in alarm. Panicked, she tried to get out of Ashton’s embrace, but she had no strength at all. Despite her best attempts, she let out what sounded like another moan before collapsing against him again.
