“Whether they deserve to die is not for you to decide, Ashton. I’ve already told you that you’ve come to the wrong place. Leave now, or don’t blame me for what happens next.”
Ronan bared a menacing grin, feeling his dissatisfaction with Ashton’s arrogant and overbearing attitude reach its peak.
“I won’t leave until every last one of those bastards like Niall is dead,” Ashton shot back. “And neither are the Northern Troops.”
His voice suddenly rose, pointing an accusing finger at Leon. His tone was saturated with overwhelming killing intent.
“Niall slaughtered this young man’s entire family. He is a monster who captured over 100 defenseless, innocent people, like the elderly and children, then turned them into prey for his ‘hunting game.‘ Tell me, Mr. Hopper. Does Niall deserve to die? Did he?”
“Agreed. He deserves to die.”
A voice filled with fury and hatred rang out from the crowd.
“He deserves to die!”
“Kill him!”
The chant rose and fell like waves, roar after roar echoing through the gathered crowd.
Niall’s face went pale. His fists clenched as he snarled, “These damned bastards… I’ll drag every one of you into my hunting games eventually and kill you myself.”
Ronan’s expression flickered but quickly returned to cold indifference.
“Ashton! I’ll say this one last time. Nial and his group’s crimes will be dealt with by the Dominion Vanguard, but not tonight. I have more pressing matters to handle. I must ask you to leave.”
Ashton let out a contemptuous scoff. “Mr. Hopper, so you’re a scum, too. Turns out the Dominion Vanguard is nothing but a bunch of frauds.”
His contempt rang loud and clear across the entire area.
The powerhouses from various factions stiffened in shock, staring at Ashton in disbelief. None of them had ever seen anyone openly call the Dominion Vanguard a fraud–or its deputy a piece of scum.
It was a direct, public slap in Ronan’s face and a challenge to the Dominion Vanguard itself. This wasn’t mere provocation anymore, but a declaration of war.
Even Neil was stunned. His stoic mask faltered for a heartbeat, and he swiped at the cold sweat beading on his forehead.
Now he understood why Lawrence valued Ashton so highly. This arrogant, domineering Ashton was the spitting image of Lawrence in his youth, perhaps even more reckless. But such recklessness required strength to back it up.
“What did you say?”
Ronan’s pupils shrank to thin slits. His fingers clenched into fists as killing intent surged from his body. The pressure of his semi -divine realm expert locked onto Ashton.
If Ashton dared repeat those words, he’d instantly strike him down. After all, no one could insult the Dominion Vanguard.
“Niall and those bastards deserve to die. And yet, you and the Dominion Vanguard you represent choose to shield such monsters. Ronan, you and your entire organization are nothing but scum.”
Ashton’s face was frozen with contempt as he spat in front of Ronan.
“What a joke. The Dominion Vanguard is nothing but a gang of frauds living off stolen glory. Just a bunch of scums.”

“Go to hell!”
Ronan finally snapped. His pupils flooded with bloodshot fury as semi–divine realm expert power condensed in his right fist. He aimed straight for Ashton’s head, intending to blow him apart.
How dare this insignificant brat act so insolently before him? How dare he slander and insult the Dominion Vanguard?
“Watch out!”
Neil’s expression changed drastically. At such close range, even if he wanted to intervene, it was already too late.
Facing Ronan’s murderous punch, Ashton’s eyes gleamed with excitement instead of fear.
