Nevertheless, Ashton told himself that this was going to be the last time he helped Melody.

He wielded the Cosmic Breathing Technique with each breath in an attempt to deliver his inner energy into Melody’s body and use it to contain her raging lust.

The only problem was Sylvia.

Sylvia had kindly invited him to stay at her place and given him some of Evermore Club’s shares. She’d asked him to look after Melody, but in the blink of an eye, he ended up sleeping with her.

Even if he had ample justification, it still wouldn’t be enough for him to explain himself.

“Listen carefully, Ashton. The two of us are the only people in this world who’ll ever know what happened here tonight. Are we clear on that?” Melody snapped.
