In that instant, the force of the Thousand–Wing Cyclone and the Triple Sixfold Draconic Fist collided like two celestial bodies fighting for dominance. Their resulting explosion vaporized everything nearby, and a dead silence fell over the world–as if time had come to a complete standstill at that moment.
There was a succession of explosions, unleashing a thunderous cacophony of sonic booms after the momentary hush. The deathmatch stage gave way and became a heap of wreckage, with stray wisps of energy leaking from the ruins.
Those in Grandcrest Estate struggled to keep their balance, their knuckles white as they gripped their hands in suspense. Their gazes were locked onto the epicenter of the destruction, yearning to witness the final outcome of the duel.
Flint, Logan, and Gareth stood up in unison. Their expressions were grave, with their composure completely shattered. They found themselves shaken by the confrontation of this magnitude. They also discovered that Ashton’s sudden burst of power was incomprehensible.
They determined that although Ashton had only recently attained the semi–divine realm, he had managed to remain undefeated throughout the fights. They all felt threatened seeing him stay undefeated.
After all, none of them would have been a match for Ashton at that age.
“W–Who has emerged victorious?”
“Mr. Gray truly exhausted himself!”
“Ashton has fought everyone alone from the very beginning! His status as a legend is already secured, no matter if he wins or loses!”
“What do you mean by that? You ought to remember that history belongs to the one left standing! Ashton will only be remembered as a loser if he goes down here! He’ll go down in history as a disgrace and destroy the Legion’s future in the process!”
In the midst of the growing clamor, the veil of energy shrouding the stage gradually dissolved. Ashton’s bloodstained and unyielding form emerged once more, captured in the collective gaze of the crowd.
Ashton was covered in even more blood than before, with deep wounds that looked even more gruesome. He was deathly pale, looking as if a light breeze might knock him down. He trembled as blood dripped steadily onto the floor with a sharp, distinct sound.
It was plain to all that Ashton was running on fumes, yet no one could deny that his presence remained as grand and overbearing as ever.
Chadwick stood a short distance from Ashton, his abdomen bearing the hollow crater of a devastating blow. There were wisps of black lightning and flames wrapped around his body. He was twisted out of shape, nothing more than a vessel for the black- curse sigils that had finally overtaken him.
He stood unsteadily, his life force gradually slipping away. He looked at Ashton with confusion and fear, whispering, “How can this be? How could I lose to you?”
He struggled desperately to offer up the last of his vitality, but the power of the cursed sigils was spent. He was helpless, forced to watch as the lightning and flames engulfed him and tore him to pieces.
A few moments later, the lethal lightning and flames consumed Chadwick’s body, quickly reducing him to dust and extinguishing his very existence. He eventually vanished from the deathmatch stage as a sudden breeze swept over.
Their battle was over, and the victor was established.
Ashton took a deep breath and bellowed, “I have a strike that can shatter any defense! I’ll take down every single one of you Jalunese bastards, whether you come alone or in packs!”

That single declaration sent a tremor of profound shock through everyone at Grandcrest Estate.
“Well said! Get those Jalunese bastards!”
“Get them!”
Those present mostly felt their blood boil with excitement. They pumped their fists, feeling immensely satisfied. They had long been fed up with the arrogance and rudeness of the Jalunese.
Ashton had given them a much–needed outlet for their frustration after he successfully killed two semi–divine realm experts from the Jalunese Martial Association in succession, greatly boosting Casoria’s morale and filling them with pride.
