Chapter 801
A resounding wet thud echoed as Logan’s head exploded, causing blood to spray everywhere as he dropped dead on the spot. His headless body then plummeted, hitting the cracked earth below.
Lawrence withdrew his fist and swallowed back a mouthful of blood, fighting through the physical strain of the backlash. He then shot a cold, sharp look at the members of the Empyrean Sentinel, who were already boiling over with rage.
Under Lawrence’s frigid gaze, the members of the Empyrean Sentinel trembled uncontrollably. They didn’t dare to make a move, so they suppressed their killing intent and lowered their heads to endure the humiliation in silence.
It was then that the barrier around the deathmatch stage dissolved, allowing the metallic stench of blood to be carried by the wind. Those present gasped as they turned to Lawrence and Ashton, awed and filled with a deep, unsettling terror.
“Holy crap! Logan is actually dead! He’s actually gone for good! Mr. Clarkson Senior is still as fierce as ever, killing without hesitation or mercy!
“That explosive power of his was terrifying. No one could possibly survive that! Those who said that the Legion has fallen are dead wrong. As long as Mr. Clarkson Senior is alive, the Legion is off–limits!”
“I’m sure Mr. Clarkson Senior planned to kill Logan from the start. I mean, those terms were a death sentence from the get–go. Mr. Clarkson Senior is such a beast! He might be past his prime, but he’s still invincible!”
“Ashton and Mr. Clarkson Senior definitely staged this trap to justify killing Logan and establish authority. Those from the older generation will now think twice before using their seniority to bully Ashton, as Logan’s fate will serve as a lesson to them all.”
“They both joined forces to pull off a massive win, a magnificent harvest of the unsuspecting.”
“Those from the Empyrean Sentinel are so shaken that they can’t even move, let alone retrieve their head’s corpse. It seems like the victory has been an overwhelming landslide for the Legion!”
“That felt so good! Logan got what was coming to him! He brought this on himself, so his death is well–deserved!”
“Their fight tonight was full of surprises! Who could have foreseen Mr. Clarkson Senior delivering the final, decisive strike? Javonbury may soon fall under the Legion’s domain, signaling a shift in Javonbury’s foundations! There’s no telling how far Ashton will go since he has Mr. Clarkson Senior protecting him!”
Those present murmured nonstop, and “the Legion” echoed through the air once more, returning to the spotlight with a perfect victory and a kingly comeback.
“Mr. Clarkson Senior…” Ashton showed no sign of celebration. He rushed to Lawrence’s side, preparing his silver needles to stabilize his condition and treat his internal injuries.
Lawrence, however, stopped him. He held Ashton’s wrist and smiled, saying, “I can still hold on, Ash! You should go finish what you started and become the new ruler of the criminal underworld of Javonbury!”
Lawrence refused to show any sign of weakness at this critical juncture. He understood that numerous formidable factions were observing the fray.
He knew that if he faltered now, his display of power would have been for naught. His singular goal was to shield Ashton and grant him the room to reach his potential.
Ashton exchanged a glance with Lawrence before he nodded and strode toward Flint, who was attempting to escape, He let out wisps of black killing intent that locked onto Flint, completely immobilizing him.
