Chapter 849
Faye knew better than anyone how obsessed George was with the martial path. A self–destructive sacrificial technique like this could only mean he had been forced into it by Cassian.
“Faye, don’t cry,” George said, offering his daughter a gentle smile. “This is a debt I owe Cassian. I have to repay it. Besides, getting one last chance to fight my future son–in–law and test his potential isn’t such a bad thing.”
The warmth in his expression vanished as killing intent surged from him. Power gathered between his fingers, growing denser and more violent as his gaze locked back onto Ashton.
“In a normal sparring match, I would have already lost. But this is a life–or–death match. It is a battle with a clear victor. You cannot blame me for using a secret technique. If you want to claim the throne of Javonbury, you must be able to win even when the odds are unfair.”
“George, I await your guidance,” Ashton replied.
He faced George head–on, the fire in his eyes undiminished. The stronger George was, the more it would push him.
“Then, take my ultimate strike,” George said, his voice steady as he fixed Ashton with a deep, searching gaze, as though delivering a final test.
He went on, “If you survive, I’ll admit you’re qualified to be my son–in–law. I’ll be willing to entrust my daughter to you. When the time comes, I’ll send you off with a proper wedding gift. But if you die, that will prove this is as far as you can go. You’ll have no one to blame but yourself.”
“If I die, it will only mean that this is the limit of my strength,” Ashton replied, lifting his head and standing tall, his confidence unmistakable. “But George, I won’t die. You don’t have what it takes to kill me.”
“You’re confident,” George commented, drawing in a slow breath. “But confidence means nothing without strength to prove it.

As he inhaled, the cracks in the wounds across his body spread and deepened, and dark red blood began to seep steadily from
them.
After paying a heavy price, he lowered his voice and said, “Sixfold Path Activation.”
In the next instant, his body trembled as the power in every bone seemed to strengthen. The energy flowing through his blood surged, and his presence rose sharply. A vast killing intent swelled around him, expanding without restraint.
“Converge.”
George spread his hand, and all of his inner and spiritual energy converged in his palm. It condensed in an instant into more than 100 streams of lethal force that spread through the air like falling meteors.
What made the scene truly terrifying was that each of those streams carried the aura of divine realm power.
“Divine ability. Falling Meteors!”
The veins along George’s arm bulged as he thrust his palm into the air, releasing every ounce of his power. The force surged upward, spiraled above Ashton, and locked him within a confined space.
More than 100 streams of killing intent, each like a descending meteor, gathered overhead and aimed directly at Ashton’s heart, ready to fall and crush it completely.
George’s body began to sway, yet he clenched his teeth and forced himself to remain upright. Pride and triumph showed on his face as he stared at Ashton.
“What do you think of this strike? It can kill you and also defeat you.”
Killing intent rolled through the air, and the pressure of the divine realm spread across Terminus Cliff. The sheer force of the

technique caused everyone present to shudder.
They lifted their heads and stared at the hundred streaks of power swirling above Ashton, each one resembling a meteor poised to descend, and they were shaken to the core.
This was no ordinary divine realm technique. It was a supreme divine ability!
