Olivia responded kindly. “You’re willing to join the Trinity Celestial Abbey, huh? If so, I’ll bring you and your family to the Central Region, where the Trinity Celestial Abbey is located.
“I promise that as my mentee, you’ll become the greatest prodigy in the world, and eventually, the strongest expert! You possess the talent and bloodline for it, Roxy! You’re destined for greatness!”
Upon hearing that, Roxy’s eyes brightened. She had believed there was no longer any way for her to challenge him for custody of Celia or stand against him at all after witnessing Cassian’s defeat at Ashton’s hands earlier that day.
But now, she was offered an opportunity by Trinity Celestial Abbey. She finally had a genuine chance to demonstrate her power. She refused to lose to Ashton, and best of all, she no longer had to fear him taking Celia away.
“I’m willing, Mother Shaw!” Roxy agreed without the slightest hesitation.
She knew she had to take this opportunity to surpass Ashton in strength. She thought that since Cassian couldn’t defeat Ashton, she would take on the task. She intended to show Ashton firsthand that she was superior to him.
“You’ve made a wise choice! Your family is already here, so let’s set out for Central Region now! I’ll tell you all about Trinity Celestial Abbey on the way!” Olivia exclaimed, her face alight with delight.
She felt certain that with Roxy, the Trinity Celestial Abbey was destined for a great resurgence.
“I want to go to Daddy’s side!” Celia muttered.
Roxy cast Ashton a conflicted look.
“You can forget about looking for your father, Celia! You should come with your mother and us. We’re going somewhere much better!” Tanya exclaimed with a smile.
“I want Daddy!” Celia cried as she ran forward, yet she could not escape the domain Olivia had created.
“Let’s go!” Olivia commanded, casting a cold glance at Ashton.
She had already looked into the history between Roxy and him, thinking that Ashton was nothing but a blemish on Roxy’s life. She would have wiped Ashton out of existence without hesitation if it weren’t for Queenie’s presence and her desire to avoid a major conflict.
“You’d better let Celia go this instant, Roxy!”
Ashton, forcing himself through the agony, strode forward, his eyes burning red with madness as he stared at Roxy. He was not about to let anyone take Celia away.
Roxy froze for a moment before shaking her head. “I’ll never hand Celia over to you, Ashton. She’s my daughter, too! I’m taking her with me! If you want to see her again, come to Central Region. After all, our bet isn’t over yet!”
“You’ve already lost the bet! You are to leave Celia behind!” Ashton bellowed.
