Eunice’s expression hardened. She knew very well that Ashton would never let Celia go and that he was going to reclaim Celia from Roxy–unless he was already dead.

Queenie, gazing indifferently at Ashton, shook her head. “You are the future head of the Legion, so it’ll be good for you to recognize the cruelty of this world early on. I won’t step in to help you, so you should just abandon this thought, Ashton.”

Ashton swallowed a mouthful of blood. He stared straight into Lord Ashdrake’s eyes within his Sea of Consciousness with his bloodshot eyes and demanded, “Give me power!”

“Do you feel the anguish now, Ashton? Unfortunately, the timing isn’t right!” Lord Ashdrake’s voice carried a frigid undertone.

“Ashton…” Kayla and Eunice trembled before being pushed back by a powerful force.

Ashton’s expression hardened, his cells shattered as he extracted power from the depths of his soul. He ascended into the air with the speed of a black dragon, his fingers becoming ink–black with emerging scales as he delivered another explosive strike.

“Oh?” Olivia was stunned, her pupils dilating slightly as she let out a strand of spiritual energy to increase the strength of the teleportation array.

Ashton struck with his most powerful punch, causing a crack to appear on Olivia’s teleportation array and throwing off Roxy and the others‘ balance.

Olivia quickly regained control, her body wrapped in spiritual energy as she steadied the teleportation array.

A massive surge of otherworldly realm power rolled toward Ashton like a tidal wave, and with a loud bang, Ashton –who had spent everything on his last strike–had no way to defend himself. He was thrown back, his body mangled and covered in blood from the force of the collision.
