“You’re truly a stunning lady!” Raymond raised his glass while his other hand boldly landed a slap on Scarlett’s backside. Scarlett instinctively sprang up at the sharp smack. She glared at Raymond with a look of pure indignation and asked, “What the hell do you think you’re doing?”

He added playfully, “You’ve got a lovely scent!”

Scarlett bit down on her lip. Her body trembled with anger, and her expression brimmed with humiliation and fury.

“You ought to show Mr. Weaver some respect, Scarlett! He’s the CEO of a listed company! You’d better be a good sport and share a few drinks with him!” Sully urged, his eyes gleaming as he shot Scarlett a meaningful look.

Scarlett felt utterly betrayed and humiliated. She had just been groped and molested, yet Sully was siding with the perpetrator and demanding she keep drinking with him. She felt as though he were treating her like a paid escort.

“You should persuade Scarlett, Carol! You see, this is a huge chance for her. It’s not every day someone like Mr. Weaver shows interest! You know, maybe one day we’ll all be related by marriage!” Sully ignored Scarlett’s dignity and honor entirely, driven solely by gain.

He figured if he could set her up with Raymond, the Larsens would have a direct line to a partnership, which would guarantee a sharp rise in the Larsen Group’s worth.

Carol’s expression shifted slightly before leaning toward Scarlett. “You don’t have to overreact over this, Scarlett. You see, this is just how these things go. You should just have a few drinks with Mr. Weaver. He’s in a playful mood and won’t do anything to you. He also has a net worth of billions of dollars!
