Divorced and Pregnant My New Life with a Billionaire Drives My Ex Crazy novel Chapter 130

“How can someone just vanish into thin air?” Grandma Grace’s voice shook with disbelief. “Keep looking. Search everywhere.”

The staff had already torn the whole Salisbury estate apart, room by room, but there was no sign of Wiona. She didn’t show up on any security cameras either. Now the servants were downright spooked. How could a whole person disappear without a single clue?

Daniel rushed home as soon as he heard. He’d barely left that morning before being called right back. When he saw how chaotic everything was, he felt a headache coming on.

“Did anyone try calling her?” he asked Jean, trying to keep his voice steady.

Jean shook his head. “Her phone’s been off this whole time.”

Daniel pressed a hand to his temple and started pacing. “Is anyone else missing besides her?”

George, the butler, stepped forward. “Molly. But she didn’t really disappear. She left last night, right after you left. At that point, Mrs. Salisbury was already in her room for the night. Everyone saw her go in.”

Daniel’s eyes narrowed. This was too much of a coincidence. Molly again. He remembered that Molly had been looking after Wiona for a while. Had they planned something together?

“Did anyone actually see Molly leave? Like, for sure?”

The gate guard shuffled forward, looking nervous. He hadn’t really seen Molly’s face, just a figure in a baggy old sweatshirt while he was distracted by the fire trucks. But all he could do now was nod and lie through his teeth. “Yes, sir. I saw her leave.”

Daniel caught the guard’s hesitation and turned back to George. “Did you check anywhere else?”

“Those two idiots,” Daniel muttered. He still couldn’t figure out why Alona would start a fire and run. Even if Bianca was in trouble, why not talk to him first? Why did she go straight for the worst possible option?

“Forget about them for now,” Grandma Grace said. “If they’re alive, they’ll find a way to let us know. Right now, the most important thing is…”

Her phone rang, cutting her off. She glanced at the number and frowned, a little surprised. Daniel noticed and quietly slipped out of the room.

Only then did Grandma Grace answer the call. “Mr. Brown, I told you it was better if we didn’t have any more contact. Why are you calling me?”

Taylor’s voice sounded tense. “I don’t want to bother you, but that thing from before… it’s out. It’s not just W’s mentor who knows. I’m afraid the truth about how you helped me is not going to stay hidden much longer.”
