Divorced and Pregnant My New Life with a Billionaire Drives My Ex Crazy novel Chapter 190

Who was he here for tonight?

Could it really be her?

The short-haired woman, shot a quick look at Wiona, who was still hiding her face with a hat and mask.

No, she was just being paranoid.

This had to be a coincidence.

Besides, Mr. Schmidt’s business had never clashed with the Sullivan Group. As far as Anna remembered, Mr. Schmidt had never even managed to get on the radar of that big shot. There was no way he’d offended him.

In Stonehill, everyone tiptoed around the young guy who controlled billions.

Maybe he was just here to have some fun tonight.

The sirens outside weren’t a concern.

No one in Stonehill dared to mess with Ecstasy.

Even if the cops were nearby, would they really dare come in?

While she was overthinking every possibility, the Karlmann King rolled to a slow stop out front.

The passenger door opened.

Korey stepped out. He was Conrad Sullivan’s special assistant, the highest-ranked spokesperson for the Sullivan Group.

He walked straight over to her.

“Hello. I’m Korey, executive assistant to the chairman and CEO of Sullivan Group.”

Korey was tall and good-looking, and in the Sullivan Group, being Conrad’s right hand meant serious status.

The woman hurried to greet him, bowing slightly and reaching out with both hands. “Korey, I’ve heard so much about you. I’m Anna.”

“So… what brings you here tonight?”

Could the person in the car really be… him?

If even the Karlmann King was here, surely the legend himself had come too.

While Anna was still wrestling with her thoughts, a middle-aged man with slicked-back hair and a flashy suit rushed out from the lobby.

This was Sam Schmidt, owner of Ecstasy and the boss of all nightlife in Stonehill’s south side.

He put on his best ingratiating smile and hurried over. “Wow, Korey. It’s an honor to have you at Royal Entertainment tonight.”

“Korey, is Mr. Sullivan with you?”

“If so, it’s a huge honor. I’ll personally make sure you get the absolute best treatment. We’d never let Mr. Sullivan feel neglected here.”

Korey lifted a hand, stopping Sam mid-flatter. “That’s not necessary.”

“Mr. Sullivan is indeed in the car.”

“But we’re just passing through, and we stopped in to ask you for a favor, Mr. Schmidt. We need to pick someone up.”

He hadn’t seen this coming at all.

Sam’s face went pale, then red, then pale again. Wiona had stormed into his turf tonight, asking for people, and even brought Eason, who was notoriously hard to deal with.

He’d already been planning to teach her a lesson, do a little favor for someone who wanted her gone. Now Conrad was in the mix?

Conrad might be young, but Sam didn’t have the guts to go up against him.

Everyone in Stonehill still remembered the ruthless ways Conrad destroyed his rivals. If anyone thought about crossing him, they always hesitated.

No one in Stonehill wasn’t at least a little afraid of him.

Just then, Wiona spoke up. “Trouble… yeah, a little.”

“I was planning to leave with my people, but Mr. Schmidt’s staff was so enthusiastic about me staying, it made things pretty difficult.”

She didn’t spell it out, but her words made Sam break out in a cold sweat.

What exactly was the connection between this nobody and Conrad?

Was there something hidden going on?

But that couldn’t be.

Wiona’s background was nothing special. She was an orphan, with no name and no status. Even with ties to the Morgan and Salisbury families, she was barely acknowledged by either.

Could she really be… Conrad’s secret lover?
