Divorced and Pregnant My New Life with a Billionaire Drives My Ex Crazy novel Chapter 314

Kellen had no way of coming up with five million, so she ran. She knew Jace was staying at that old place. Only now did it hit her. The real reason Jace returned was because he still couldn’t let go of Wiona.

“This was your love nest with her. So what about me? What am I supposed to be?”

“I gave up so much for you. Do you even realize the humiliation I’ve put up with?”

“Jace, you jerk, get up!”

She started hitting and pounding on Jace. The pain forced him awake. He opened his eyes, saw Kellen, and immediately slapped her across the face. Then he grabbed her by the throat, not caring about anything else.

He rolled off the couch and onto the floor, one hand still clamped tight around her neck. His eyes were bloodshot, wild and furious.

“You actually have the nerve to come here!” he shouted.

“Kellen!”

“If you hadn’t drugged me, do you think any of this would have happened? Wiona wouldn’t have caught us together, wouldn’t have misunderstood everything. It’s all because of you. All of it!”

“I wanted us to end things peacefully. Why couldn’t you just let go? Why couldn’t you?”

“Look at what you’ve done to me. I’ve lost everything because of you. Don’t you get it?”

“Why did you have to do all this?”

Kellen clawed at his arm in a panic. Thankfully, Jace’s other arm was still in a sling, so she managed to land a few punches on his injured side. He was burning with fever, his whole body aching, so it didn’t take much for her to shove him off and scramble away.

Burning with humiliation and rage, Kellen flipped over, straddled Jace, and slapped him twice.

“Jace, you bastard!”

“You kept saying you loved me. You promised me everything.”

“And now, just like that, you’re done? Now you say you love someone else? So what am I to you? What am I supposed to do?”

“I’m pregnant with your child.”

“You have to man up and take responsibility.”

“And don’t even think about letting Wiona give birth to your kids. I won’t let it happen. Never.”

“If you can’t do something about it, then I will.”

“And you... You can’t get rid of me. For the rest of your life, you’re stuck with me, whether you like it or not.”

She slapped him one more time, then clutched her sore neck and stormed out of the villa.

Out on the street, Kellen put on a mask. The more she thought about it, the angrier she got. She pulled out her phone and called Isaac.

“Hello?”

Isaac let out a short, cold laugh. “Right now, the only thing our family cares about is Grandma’s inheritance.”

“But only someone who’s carrying Salisbury blood can inherit it.”

“Once you get that inheritance and hand it over, my father will give you a chance.”

“Nothing else matters.”

Excitement shot through Kellen. Before hanging up, Isaac reminded her, “Just remember, the deal is that Wiona can’t get back together with my brother while she’s pregnant.”

After the call, Kellen stood on the street, her face full of ambition.

“Wiona, I’m not letting you ruin my future.”

What never crossed Kellen’s mind was how Isaac found out about the will’s terms. She only knew because Wiona had called to rub it in her face. But how did Isaac know?

Isaac knew, of course.

Because right then, in the basement of a house on the outskirts of Stonehill, Jean was tied up, secured to a chair, a gag stuffed in her mouth, muffled cries all she could manage.

Not far away, inside a small cell with iron bars, a young lady cowered in the corner, her clothes in tatters, a heavy chain locked around her ankle, hair tangled, face pale with fear.

It was Bianca, the girl who had been missing for days.
