Divorced and Pregnant My New Life with a Billionaire Drives My Ex Crazy novel Chapter 320

“He didn’t come here to ask you to get back together, did he?”

“Are you saying you think he’s better than me?”

Just the idea made Conrad’s tone go sharp with jealousy.

Wiona’s eyes went wide. She knocked his hand away from her chin.

“Wait, what? Remarry him? Are you kidding? I told him off so badly he probably still hasn’t recovered.”

Wait. Why did Conrad sound so jealous when he mentioned Jace? Seriously, they weren’t even official yet, and he was already acting possessive? This side of him was almost hard for Wiona to watch.

And why was she even explaining herself to him?

But Conrad just kept going. He leaned in, cupping her cold cheeks in his hands, looking both annoyed and a little bit pitiful.

“Then why are you hesitating to say yes to my proposal? Why do you always act so awkward around me?”

“But with him, you seemed so patient.”

“So it’s true. You treat your ex-husband and your new suitor differently.”

Patient? Wiona almost laughed. She’d thrown mud and even slapped Jace. Did Conrad even know that?

This was getting ridiculous.

Then she caught a glimmer in Conrad’s eyes, something dark and playful, and it hit her. He was messing with her. Again. He just liked seeing her flustered and angry.

Fine. Two could play this game.

Wiona narrowed her eyes, pushed his hands away, and shot back, “So, tossing some paperwork at me counts as a proposal now?”

“Mr. Sullivan, do you really think I’m that easy to win over?”

She let out a cold little laugh, turned, and headed back toward the main house.

She waved a hand without looking back. “Conrad, we agreed on three days. Let’s talk when the time’s up.”

Deep down, Wiona knew she needed to really think about her next step.

Conrad watched her walk away and just smiled to himself.

“Alright. I’ll wait for you.”

But Wiona didn’t dwell on it long. The hush of falling snow outside helped her drift off to sleep.

Her blood type matched Jasmine’s, so no one had ever doubted her identity. The only reason she started to suspect something was because someone tipped her off, saying Cole was getting a paternity test.

Why would her father suddenly do that? Did he have a secret child?

At first, Wiona thought maybe Cole had cheated. But after watching him for a while, she realized he was suspicious of her.

She noticed his attitude shift. The way he used to spoil her faded, replaced by impatience and distance.

That was when it hit her—maybe something was wrong with her own birth story.

She did her own paternity test in secret. The results shattered her.

Now, looking back, the strangest part was the person who warned her. Who was he?

He never showed up again. He disappeared, like he’d never been there.

Why did he reach out to her?

Wiona had tried to track him down, but the email was anonymous. There was no way to trace it.

Maybe… Conrad could help her.
