Divorced and Pregnant My New Life with a Billionaire Drives My Ex Crazy novel Chapter 521

Wiona’s eyes landed on Sophie, cold and sharp. She was honestly at her breaking point with this woman. After what happened at the last Simpson family gathering, Wiona thought things were crystal clear. They’d cut ties, there was nothing left to say. And after everything Sophie had done, how could she just waltz into the Sullivan family’s home and act like nothing happened? She wasn’t even trying to hide how much she wanted to claim Conrad as her own, like Wiona didn’t exist at all.

Sophie could feel all that disgust and resentment coming off Wiona. She snapped her head up, glaring back with pure hatred. “You…”

Sophie had been pushed too far today. She was done pretending. Conrad was gone. What did it even matter anymore? She wanted to let the whole world see what she’d become.

She threw her hand out, aiming for Wiona’s stomach. “You bitch! Who asked you to get involved? Just get out of my way!”

Before she could do anything, someone grabbed Wiona and pulled her aside. Suddenly, everyone rushed in, faces pale, crowding protectively in front of Wiona.

“What the hell are you doing?”

“Ms. Clements, how could you be so cruel?”

“You’re a lawyer. How dare you try to hurt a pregnant woman?” Madison was shaking with rage, looking like she might tear Sophie apart right there.

Even Annette looked at her in horror. “Sophie, what were you thinking? Were you really trying to push Wiona? How could you? She’s pregnant with Conrad’s children. That’s the last of the Sullivan bloodline. What if something had happened? How would you ever explain that?”

Sophie just rolled her eyes, pretending she didn’t care. “I didn’t even touch her, did I? Look at all of you, freaking out over nothing.”

“I thought you’d changed, that you’d actually learned from your mistakes. But now I see you were just lying to me. You still hate Wiona? You think you have the right? She’s Conrad’s official wife. She’s the lady of this house now,. She even chose to let you go, but you’re still trying to hurt her. You just refuse to wake up!”

Sophie pressed her hand to her cheek, her eyes dark and stormy. Annette’s harsh words didn’t seem to get through to her at all. The anger inside her just twisted tighter.

Mrs. Clements was so shaken she could barely stand. She rushed forward to shield Sophie, looking back at Annette with tears in her eyes. “Annette, you know Sophie’s not well. She’s just not strong enough to handle Conrad’s death. She didn’t mean the things she said. Why are you being so hard on her? Why do you have to misunderstand her? Who in this world really loved Conrad as much as she did anyway? What did she do that’s so unforgivable? Is loving someone really a crime?”

Wiona stepped closer, one hand on her stomach, standing tall beside her mother-in-law. “It’s not wrong to love someone. But loving someone doesn’t mean you get to keep hurting other people. Sophie, your illness is the result of your own choices. I don’t feel sorry for you. Honestly, if Mom didn’t still care about you, I wouldn’t have let you set foot in Hawthorne Hall today. You think I don’t see how you’ve been using her kindness, turning her compassion into a weapon to hurt us again and again? You say you’ve been with her for ten years. But what about the ten years you stole from Alice and Conrad’s mother? All those years, did you ever try to convince her to go back to her real family? No, you just selfishly took the motherly love that should have belonged to Conrad and Alice.”
