Divorced and Pregnant My New Life with a Billionaire Drives My Ex Crazy novel Chapter 847

"You... all of you..." Olive stammered, pointing a trembling finger at the crowd. "This is our family's private matter! Arthur, family scandals should not be aired in public. I'm giving you one last chance. Pull back from the ledge before it's too late, or you'll find yourself completely isolated."

Arthur let out a bitter laugh. "Family scandals? Dad, is there any shortage of scandals in our family? The person who has the least right to say those words is you! As for being isolated and abandoned..." He tilted his head back, swallowing the heavy lump of emotion in his throat. "When have I ever had anyone's support to begin with? As far as family goes, I only have my mother, my wife, and my children. To the rest of you, I'm just a useless block of wood. But it doesn't matter anymore. I don't care. Remember this, everything I say today was forced out of me by all of you."

When Arthur looked at Olive again, his demeanor had entirely shifted. His eyes, once full of cold indifference or the occasional flicker of hopeful family love, were now bloodshot with dark, venomous hatred.

Olive's heart lurched. He had changed. This son of his had completely transformed.

"You ungrateful bastard... how dare you... defy me!" Olive gasped.

Then, he began to slowly close the distance between himself and Allen.

"Allen, did you really think I had no idea how many times you hooked up with my girlfriend, Valeria, behind my back?" Arthur demanded, his voice ringing through the silent hall. "I noticed your betrayal long ago. I just hadn't confronted her before she ran off out of guilt and shame. Otherwise, I wouldn't have waited until today to drag this filthy mess out into the open. If Valeria had truly been pregnant with my child, she wouldn't have been too afraid to face me. She snuck away because she knew she didn't have the face to pin her bastard child on me! From the moment I found out she cheated on me, I never laid a single finger on her again. So, when this Ms. Clements came to me with Valeria's photo and a paternity test, I immediately suspected her true origins as soon as I heard her birthday. A long-lost first love? A daughter left out in the cold? Did you really think I was a fucking idiot? Did you think a little tampering would make me blindly believe you? This... is the real paternity test for the two of you!"
