"Those are fake, Brian! Those are fake! How could I do that? I'm still young, and Uncle William is like a father to me! How could you? This is slander!" Claire screamed at Adrain. She was crying so hard that her chest heaved. "Just because you are powerful, you can step on people like me?"

"Yes, I am poor, but I am pure! All these are fake!" Claire declared. She cupped Brian's face and said, "Babe, you have to believe me. Riley is doing this. She is influencing Mr. King. Riley is evil!"

"Evil?" Riley got up furiously. She pointed at Claire and declared, "You are the evil one around here! You are still young, but you are already manipulative!"

"You can have these photos tested if you like, Brian. Find out who the real evil is," Adrian proposed. "It's like I said; these were taken months ago, prior to your breakup with Riley. I had no idea it would lead to you. My intention was to look into Mr. Barlowe. You may contact my assistant for the soft copies and have it authenticated."

"And since we are at this," Adrian gave his assistant the order, and Clint gave another set of photos.

They were pictures of Mr. Barlowe chatting with the investigator he had hired. Adrian said, "Mr. Barlowe discovered you were looking into him. He caught your PI and instead paid him off. So, you never really got the real info."

Brian thought it was the last of it. However, Clint had more documents to show him. Adrian's assistant said, "You might want to look at these, Mr. Martin."

"Brian, that's enough!" Claire begged. Her face was utterly stained with tears as she tried to pull him out of there!

He did not know if he could take anymore. Brian was mad, heartbroken, and felt like a complete fool around his friends! However, he just had to see for himself.

He flipped the folder open and saw an ID picture, which he barely recognized, yet it had Claire's name on it!

"What else must you say to make things worse, Adrian? You have clearly humiliated me?" Brian snapped. He pointed the finger at Adrian and said, "These pictures better be real, or else I will sue you for defamation!"

"Sue me?" Adrian mocked, "Do you even have the courage?"

"You -" Brian clenched his fist. He was about to retort, but Adrian gave him another shock.
