Do You Still Love Me When We Meet Again? (Aubrey and Damon) novel Chapter 260

Chapter 260: I’ll Always Be Yours

The family was too hyped. They swarmed Aubrey, drowning her in questions and fussing over her.

Then, Tracy hooked her arm through Aubrey’s and pulled her away, beaming with excitement.

The rest of them followed close behind.

Aubrey looked lost. She glanced back at Damon, her eyes filled with helplessness.

Their eyes locked, but with the crowd pressing in, they couldn’t get anywhere near each other.

Damon watched as Tracy and Olivia dragged her off. All he could do was grab her suitcase and trail after them like a bodyguard.

Olivia shoved the pickup sign into Zach’s hands and followed the rest of the family out.

A fleet of cars was waiting outside the terminal.

Tracy swiped the keys from Zach. She took the wheel, driving Grandfather, Aubrey, and Olivia.

Their parents took another car.

That left Damon driving his own car, with Zach riding shotgun.

Both brothers looked miserable.

Since they were kids, their parents had drilled it into them: love your sister, spoil her, and always let her have her way.

And they always did.

Now, the spoiled princess of the Blackwood family had hijacked both their women. They couldn’t do a damn thing about it except play along. They just had to suck it up. They’d get them back soon enough.

Old Mr. Blackwood had booked a private room at the most expensive restaurant in New Haven City to welcome Aubrey home.

The whole group headed over for lunch.

At the massive round table, the elders were busy studying the menu, debating what to order.

Tracy parked herself right between Aubrey and Olivia.

Damon finally found an opening to get close to Aubrey. He sat down, his gaze softening as he offered the flowers to her.

Thank you,Aubrey said, taking the bouquet with a shy smile. She leaned down to catch the scent, her fingers tracing the delicate petals. Her face lit up, looking even more radiant than the flowers in her arms.

Ever since she’d stepped off the plane, her heart hadn’t stopped racing.

Damon reached out and took her hand, pulling it onto his lap. Under the cover of the heavy tablecloth, his long fingers slid between hers, locking their hands together. Palm to palm.

Aubrey felt a wave of warmth spread from her hand. A blush crept up her neck as she stole a glance at him.

He sat there perfectly straight, eyes fixed forward. He looked like he was hanging on every word his father and grandfather said, but his hand was busy giving hers a slow, firm squeeze.

This manusually so reserved and composedcouldn’t even wait to get her alone. He was sneaking touches under the table like a teenager. She bit her lip, trying to hide her grin, her heart skipping a beat.

Suddenly, Tracy stood up and dragged an empty chair over, placing it behind Aubrey, She reached out and took the flowers. Aubrey, put these down.

Aubrey blinked in confusion, watching Tracy set the bouquet on the chair.

Then, Tracy grabbed Aubrey’s wrist and literally yanked her hand out of Damon’s grip. She leaned in and whispered, Save the handholding for when you guys get home.

Aubrey, let’s have a drink. Tracy picked up her glass of red wine as she spoke.

With their hands forced apart, Damon slowly curled his fingers and let out a soft breath. Looking at his troublemaker sister, his head started to throb.

Aubrey gave an awkward smile and reached for her wine.

Tracy sat back down and turned to Olivia on her other side. Olivia, let’s toast.

Olivia quickly grabbed her glass.
