Doomsday Revenge: Payback Time (Josie) novel Chapter 353

< Chapter 353

Chapter 353.

“Is everything you said true?” Sean Voss’s face turned deathly pale. “Are you saying nuclear radiation makes the Undead level up?”

“Yes,” Josie Quinn nodded with absolute certainty. “Cyrus Finch is the real mastermind behind this dead siege. Like me, he’s from Fort City.” “We didn’t come to Newport City just to find Sean Voss; we came for the stockpile of nuclear warheads Here.*

“You and I are both human. Since you have a photo of Sean from when he was younger, you clearly know him, or you’re with him. I’ll be blunt with you-I must take every single warhead and all the nuclear material. If they fall into the hands of the Undead-specifically, if Cyrus Finch them-humanity is finished.”

“Cyrus is a Tier-6 Psychic Undead. The reason he leveled up so fast is because he found a nuclear warhead and successfully detonated it. He leveled up instantly.”

“We both arrived in Newport City because we heard there was a massive cache of nuclear weapons, warheads, and materials hidden here.”

“If you’re with Sean Voss, tell him everything I’ve said. He’s human, too. I assume he doesn’t want this entire planer to become a playground for the Undead, right?”

“We humans still want to live.”

“We can’t just let our species go extinct, can we?” Josie’s tone grew sharp. “If he thinks humanity doesn’t need to survive, then forget I said anything.” Let me… let me think this through,” Sean said, his mind a chaotic mess.

“Fine,” Josie didn’t push him. She stood up to leave. “Take your time. When you’ve figured it out, come find me.”

Josie had already guessed the identity of the man in front of her.

But if he wasn’t ready to admit it, she wouldn’t force him. She had made her intentions clear. If she had to kidnap him and drag him back, he would be there in body only, with his heart elsewhere. There was no point in that.

After Josie left, Sean felt like his world was crumbling.

He rubbed his face hard with his hands.

He had never considered that nuclear radiation could trigger evolution in the Undead and mutant plants and animals. If he had known….

But even if he had known, what could he have done? How could one man change the world?

But should he really reveal his identity to Josie Quinn and help her take the nukes? Was she truly trustworthy?

If he trusted the wrong person, his entire life was forfeit. With someone as powerful as Josie, once she took him, she would never let him leave.
