Chapter 364.
As she stepped onto the sand, she began stripping off her oxygen tank and the wet gear.
Underneath, she wore only a black bandeau top and a pair of black boy shorts.
Josie didn’t show even a hint of embarrassment. She casually discarded her wet clothes and walked onto the beach.
Dripping with water, she walked step by step toward June Quinn and Cyrus Finch.
Cyrus sat in a chair, watching her intently.
“Let them go,” Josie said. She shook the water from her hair, pulled a pair of pants and a shirt from her space, and dressed right in front
of them.
As she pulled on her clothes, she continued, “With Cyrus here, they aren’t going anywhere. Besides, you’ve probably already surrounded this place with an Undead army, haven’t you? If they try to run, they’ll be torn to shreds in seconds.”
“What’s the matter, Cyrus? Do you lack even that much confidence?”
Cyrus raised his hand slightly.
June reluctantly released her grip on the hostage.
She had no choice but to obey Cyrus’s command.
The hostage stumbled toward Josie.
Just before he collapsed, Josie caught him. She immediately unleashed a massive surge of Plant-type energy to treat his wounds.
“Ms. Quinn, you don’t need to do this. Save your strength for the fight! I’m not dead yet!” the teammate said, filled with guilt. “I’m sorry for being a burden.”
“Shut up!” Josie ignored him, forcing her energy into his body to stabilize his internal damage.
As for the minor external wounds, those could wait.
Josie handed the man over to Hudson and turned to face Cyrus. “Let’s talk.”
“I don’t think we have anything to talk about,” Cyrus replied. “As you guessed, this area is surrounded by my Undead army. Your people are all injured. Do you really think they can walk out of here alive?”
“Leave the nukes, and I’ll give you a path out.”
“Don’t worry, I’m a man of my word. If I say you live, you live.”
Josie sighed. “Cyrus, do you really have to use this method to rank up? You know there are better ways.”
“This is how I choose to do it.” Cyrus frowned. “What now? Are you going to fight me?”
“Yes.” Josie dropped into a combat stance. “You’re Undead, and I’m human. Our positions are naturally opposed.”
“Either you kill me today, or I beat you. There is no other choice,” Josie declared. “If we’re destined to leave our lives here today, then so be it!”
It was fate.
It seemed she was destined to die at the hands of this Undead King in both lifetimes.

In her previous life, she had managed to survive for ten years.
In this life, she hadn’t even made it one full year!
Fine.
As long as she fought with everything she had, she would have no regrets.
June grew frantic and shouted, “Josie Quinn, you’re breaking your word!”

“Please, can you stop keeping that idiotic look on your face for five seconds?” Josie mocked. “We’re literally putting our lives on the line here. What more do you want?”
“You think I don’t know? If you die, everything in your space disappears with you!” June snarled, her teeth bared.
