Josie tossed the tiny, glass–like shard back to Zane. “If you want real cores, wait until the storm passes, then go hunting. The higher the level, the more they’re worth.”

Zane and his crew finally got the picture.

Even the guys without powers were hyped.

This meant they weren’t just dead weight. They weren’t useless.

The man vaulted off the roof and landed smoothly, walking toward them. “You guys looking for supplies? You might as well turn back. This place is picked clean.”
