Steve froze, frowning as he carefully sifted through his memories. "Actually, they are different. At the very least, in reality, I did not marry Abriella, nor did I experience any of that endless marital bickering and torment."
James replied coldly, "If it does not align with reality, then it is not real. It is merely a probabilistic deduction manufactured by your brain during a state of extreme physical weakness. It is far from any kind of prophetic vision."
Stunned by the logic, Steve found himself completely lost. Just moments ago, he had received full validation from Emmy and felt the joy of discovering a kindred spirit. Yet James's few words had instantly plunging him into severe self-doubt. "Then... should I even believe what your wife just told me? And if the dreams are fake, how do you explain her terrifying knack for business?"
James kept his tone measured. "When it comes to your father's safety, I believe it is better to err on the side of caution. Nelia is currently in the grip of warfare, and the situation is highly volatile. Anyone who goes there is putting their life on the line. As for her business acumen..." He paused slightly before continuing. "That stems entirely from her innate brilliance, coupled with a fraction of good luck. My wife is a born genius. It really is not that hard to grasp."
Choking on the sudden display of aggressive spousal devotion, Steve rolled his eyes so hard it hurt. However, James's analysis did make sense. He let out a sigh. "Alright, I trust your judgment. Damn it, that stupid dream has had me on the verge of a nervous breakdown lately. I have not gotten a single piece of actual work done. It looks like I need to pull myself together and do something productive."
The two men were just about to end the call when James's tone suddenly darkened. "Send me your father's recent itinerary." Completely bewildered, Steve asked, "Why do you need my dad's schedule?" James offered no explanation. "Just send it."
"Fine, fine, hang on. I will ask his assistant for it now and forward it to you the second I get it." Hanging up, Steve immediately dialed his father's personal assistant. A few minutes later, an itinerary schedule popped up on his phone. Steve zoomed in on the image, scanning the lines one by one.
