Dumping My Ex to Flash Marry the Untouchable CEO novel Chapter 1754

“But even if I want to make peace, will Mom really forgive me?”

Aurora had always carried that knot in her heart.

“Besides, she’s always treated us differently, Mr. Lee, you know that better than anyone.”

Aurora let out a self-mocking laugh. “So much time has passed, and I’ve already gotten used to it. Our relationship has always been like this.”

“But deep down, you still care about her, don’t you?”

Arnold looked at her seriously, cutting straight through the thoughts she didn’t say out loud.

“The moment you walked in, you asked about Madam Grace’s health. That alone proves how much you still care.”

He couldn’t help letting out a small laugh.

“See? You’re both so stubborn. Why not just talk things out?”

“Can I really do that?”

Aurora glanced at her palms, unsure and hesitant.

“Of course you can. As long as you’re willing to try.”

Arnold guided her gently, the way an elder would coax a child into facing her own heart.

“To be honest, you and your mother are very much alike. You’re both stubborn, both unwilling to bow your heads.”

He let out another soft laugh.

“But you’re also both very easy to soothe. No matter what happens, your hearts never truly stop caring about each other.”

“I understand.”

Aurora took a deep breath, as if something inside her had finally clicked into place.

What Arnold said made sense.

“Alright, I’ll head in now.”

A gentle ease softened Aurora’s expression.

Seeing the familiar flowers and trees again, her emotions shifted in a way she hadn’t expected.

People really should learn to let themselves go, step out of their own circle, and look at the world from a wider view, not stay trapped in their own mind.

Arnold already saw through her, and she felt Grace was the same.

Grace lived in her own world, unwilling to face her true feelings.

If she did love Aurora, then maybe her way of showing love was simply different, or perhaps Grace never learned how to express love at all.

The more Aurora thought about it, the more she felt that might truly be the case.

With everything suddenly clear in her heart, her steps became much lighter as she headed into the living room.
