Relief and happiness were all I felt while kissing Wyatt. It felt like I had finally found a home, somewhere to belong since my parents died. This is where I belong. All too soon, Wyatt pulled back and looked at me with nothing but happiness in his eyes.

“I will protect you, honor you and cherish you. I, Wyatt Dean Evens, accept you Nina Elizabeth McCoy, as my mate and my Luna.”

“I, Nina Elizabeth McCoy, accept you Wyatt Dean Evens as my mate, my alpha and my king.”

I saw the confusion on his face with the king at the end, but he didn’t get a chance to ask as the whole crowd erupted into cheers. I forgot where we were and I blushed the deepest shade of red as Wyatt laughed and pulled me to his side. Everyone came up to congratulate us and I barely had a chance to breathe.

“Okay everyone! Let the girl breath!” Kelly said as she grabbed my hand and pulled me away from some teenagers and sat me down at our table.

“Thank you! I needed to sit down for a second and where is my drink?”

“Here, take mine, I will get another one. Anyone else?” Zach asked.

“Thanks Zach.” I looked at him to see how he felt about it all. He was beaming from ear to ear. I downed my drink in one gulp and quickly yelled at him for another.

“I am so glad you are part of the family now!” Screamed Kelly and Brooke.

“I have always wanted sisters!” I said. I am on cloud nine right now.

“Welcome to the family, Nina”, a deep voice said. I looked over and Alpha Paul and Luna Autumn were standing beside the table.

I stood up and bowed my head in respect. “Thank you for accepting me into the family. It is nice to have a family to belong to again.” And at that, Luna Autumn busted into tears and gave me a motherly hug. I was so shocked I didn’t realize how badly I needed one of those. I hugged her back.

“Let the girl breath mom!” Brooke yelled and we all laughed.

“Yes, please do not suffocate my mate the night I meet her!” Wyatt said as he came up to me and pulled me to his side, giving me a small kiss on my forehead.

“Well, you kids have fun. Wyatt, see me in my office tomorrow” Alpha Paul said.

“Yes, sir” and they walked off.

Wyatt took a seat and sat me down on his lap. Zach showed up with our drinks and handed me mine. “What are you drinking?” Wyatt asked.

“Jack Daniels on the rocks” Wyatt raised an eyebrow at me and I could feel his curiosity rise. “That is what my dad drank and it was what was available for us to steal growing up, so that is what I know! Plus, I do not like the fruity shit, it gives me headaches.” The table laughed at that.

“You should have seen her, all we had one night was the white claws we stole from a party after everyone passed out. She complained the whole time and for 3 days after with a terrible headache.”

“Hey now, I am pretty sure that was laced with something! Not my fault!” I said, trying to defend myself from the laughter.

“You do seem like the whiskey type” Wyatt said as he rubbed my back. “You do look beautiful tonight”, He added as he whispered in my ear.

“Thank you” I said as I laid my head on his shoulder.

“Let’s go dance!” Ashley said and it was another hip-swaying song. We all stood up and I grabbed Wyatt’s hand and pulled him to the dance floor. I placed my ass against him and let the music take me away. His hands were gripping my waist and I could feel how much he was enjoying it.

After what felt like hours of dancing, drinking and laughing, we decided to call it a night. Wyatt wasted no time in picking me up bridal style and carrying me to his room.

His room was shades of black and grey with hints of white and red. Red silk sheets lined the bed and were covered in a black quilt. A black canopy covered the four-posted bed and light grey walls to match. There was a balcony with two rocking chairs, a living area with a grey couch and matching arm chairs with a TV that you could rotate to watch from the bed or the couch. There was even a small kitchenette on the other side of the room.
