Sylvia found Lester and the woman in the burn ward.

Both of them had their backs to the door. As the doctor and nurse tended to her wound, the woman immediately shrank back into Lester's embrace.

"It hurts so much. I'm so scared."

That voice... sounded incredibly familiar.

But Sylvia just couldn't pinpoint where she had heard it before.

That was until a nurse approached carrying some medication. "Excuse me, miss. Could you step aside, please?"

The voice caught the attention of the people inside the room. Lester and the woman turned around at the same time to look.

Lester blurted out in surprise, "Sylvia."

Sylvia snapped out of her daze and finally got a clear look at the woman's face.

It was the woman from the supermarket, the one named... Sienna Rayner.

The woman's expression remained perfectly neutral when she saw her, as if she had entirely anticipated their reunion.

It seemed that the so-called "chance encounter" at the supermarket had been completely staged, too.

Right in front of Sylvia, Sienna leaned gently against Lester, her gaze airy yet carrying a hint of blatant provocation.

Instantly, the words on the tip of Sylvia's tongue were swallowed back down. She shifted gears and asked, "Mr. Sanford, who is this lady?"

At that, Sienna's eyes flickered with surprise.

Sylvia knew exactly what Sienna was trying to do. She wanted to provoke Sylvia into making a huge scene and interrogating Lester right here in public.

A man of Lester's status despised nothing more than public spectacles and screaming matches.

So Sylvia simply pretended she had no idea who Sienna was.

When it came to acting skills, the look in Sienna's eyes right now wasn't even half as convincing as Bridget Simpson's.

Hearing the question, Lester hurriedly explained. "This is a relative of the Garcia family. She's here for the wedding. She was sitting next to me during lunch and accidentally got burned."

He sounded as if he were the one who had been burned, speaking rapidly and with frantic urgency.

Sienna, standing right beside him, didn't even get a chance to edge in a single word.
