Chapter 102 Stop Hitting Him!
The young man stared in disbelief at what Xane was doing. When Xane reached for the box again, he finally lost it and stepped back, anger filling his eyes.
He shouted, “Mr. Clark, what are you doing?!”
That was water!
Clean water!
A full bottle of clean, uncontaminated water–the kind his sister wouldn’t even ask for, even with a high fever, cracked lips, and a burning throat. She didn’t want to make things harder for him, so she stopped him from asking Martin for it!
Just one sip could make someone feel alive again!
And Xane just wasted it like that!
The young man’s eyes turned red. Martin

roared, “Xane, that’s the second
bottle you’ve wasted today! Do you even know how important water is to us?!”
What?
That was already the second bottle?!
Hearing that, something inside the young man snapped.
All he could see was his sister’s weak face and this bastard’s arrogant grin.
“I’m gonna kill you!”
The whole box of water slammed to the ground. The young man rushed forward like he’d gone crazy, his fist smashing hard into Xane’s face.
“You’re not human! You’re seriously not human! You’re a piece of shit!!”
Xane never expected anyone in this group to actually hit him. He was caught off guard. The punch landed right on his cheek. His ears rang, and pain spread through his whole body.
The young man kept hitting him again and again.
“Are you crazy?! Are you fucking crazy?!”
Xane screamed while flailing his arms and legs. “Kill him! I’m ordering you, kill him right now!”
Martin’s pupils tightened.
He and Drake exchanged a look and rushed forward.
Martin grabbed Xane’s left arm and shouted, “Calm down! Stop hitting him! Can’t we talk this out!”

Drake grabbed Xane’s right arm, glaring at the young man. “Do you even know who you’re hitting? Do you want to die?!”
Xane couldn’t move at all. He was puzzled.
At first, he could still fight back a little. But after a while, he could only take the hits
When the anger finally faded from the young man’s face, Drake suddenly stood up and kicked him hard in the chest, sending him flying. “You’ve got some nerve!”
Xane sat on the ground, bruised and swollen, looking like a pig’s head. He was almost going crazy. “Kill him! Kill him! I want him dead!!”
Martin stepped in and politely helped him up, looking worried. “Mr. Clark, are you okay?”
Xane screamed, “Do I look okay to you?! What is wrong with you two? You useless idiots! When we get back to the base, I’ll have my dad kill both of you!”
Drake’s face darkened. “Mr. Clark, are you sure about that?”
That question snapped Xane back to reality.
A flash of fear hit him. He shouldn’t have said that.
The only reason he’d ma
it this far was because of Martin and Drake.
But what if they got pushed too far and just killed him out here?
He panted heavily, but still kept yelling that he wanted the young man dead.
Drake’s kick looked harsh, but was mostly for show.
The young man got up from the ground, his face unreadable.
Then, Xane gave a creepy, mean smile. “You have a little sister, right?”
That one sentence instantly set the young man off again.
“If you dare touch my sister, I swear I’ll-”
“You’ll what?”
Xane sneered. “Who do you think you are, hitting me?”
Xane staggered to his feet, walked up to the young man, pushed him to the ground again, then stepped right on his face. “Weren’t you acting tough just now? I’ve noticed something–some people never know their place. I know you all hate me. But what can you do about it?
“Don’t forget, the base you’re going to is my territory! And the people protecting you right now? They were supposed to protect me!
“You’ve only made it this far because of me. So I don’t care what I do or how you feel about it- you just have to take it!“.
