End of the World? I'm the Boss novel Chapter 315

Chapter 315 Clean Up

A thick green vine burst up from the ground with unstoppable force, swinging wide in a full arc.

A brief clearing opened right in front of them.

The zombie that had injured Ollie Cox was struck clean across the waist, its body split in two.

Even so, the halves still twitched and writhed on the ground, trying to crawl back up.

Die!

Abigail roared, and the vine slammed down, crushing the writhing body into a pulp.

Ollie, Ollie

She caught his limp body as it collapsed, tears spilling uncontrollably. Wwhy did you save me!

If Ollie hadn’t rushed in and taken the hit for her, she would’ve been the one lying there.

II’m not even an ability user.

Finished

Ollie lay in her arms. Half his shoulder had been torn away, and one side of his body was soaked in blood, raw muscle exposed to the air.

So what if you’re not?

Abigail sobbed. Who asked you to save me?

I wasn’t trying to save you

His pupils were turning pale, dark lines creeping up from his neck to his face.

His limbs started twitching and twisting uncontrollably. A bloodthirsty look flashed in his eyes, only to be forced back again and again.

I justfelt guilty

With the last of his strength, he struggled to speak. The deanI was the one who pushed him

Abigail froze. What

So this is what I deserve. I shouldn’t have survived

Abigail, while I’m still conscious, before I turnyou have to kill me. I already got the dean killed. I won’t become one of those things and hurt more people

His eyes turned fully gray. Cathering everything he had left, Ollie shouted, Kill me!

The moment his voice fell, the vibrant green vine shot forward and pierced straight through his body.

His blackened nails had nearly reached Abigail’s face, but at the last second, they dropped weakly,

Dark veins spread across his face, yet a faint look of relief touched his lips.

Ollie

Grief flooded Abigail’s chest.

They had lost another one.

But the fight wasn’t over.

Zombies felt no pain and had no reason. All they could sense was fresh flesh.

Eat. Must eat. So hungry!

The campus looked like hell on earth. Despair settled over everyone.

Just when they thought they were done for, a massive paleblue barrier appeared out of nowhere,

enclosing all of them inside.

It was like something out of a novel, sealing off the clawing zombies outside and buying them a moment to breathe.

Everyone stared in shock as the barrier broke apart into countless thin ice spikes, hovering in the air.

The next second, the ice spikes came down like a tidal wave!

It was an unbelievably spectacular sight.

Under the sunlight, the ice spikes flashed blindingly/bright. People instinctively shielded their eyes, but still watched. The mass of zombies was pierced through in an instant, bodies riddled with holes.

Even some Level 2 and above zombies couldn’t escape.

Not bad.

A calm voice drifted down. Everyone looked up. Robin stood on the rooftop, her gaze sweeping over

them.

Dark clouds gathered behind her, streaks of purple lightning flickering within.

In that moment, she looked like a god.

She raised her hand and pressed two fingers down.

With a roar, bolts of lightning crashed from the clouds!

They struck the densest clusters of zombies. The melting ice turned to water, the perfect conductor, and purple lightning spread through the swarm. Some zombies didn’t even have time to react before turning to charred husks.

Level 2 and higher zombies held out a little longer, but under the lightning, they couldn’t move at all.

Chapter 316 Clean Up

In the blink of an eye, half the swarm was gone.

Even the packed field suddenly looked almost empty.

Klay, guess it’s our turn to clean up.

Henry raised a brow and glanced at the quiet boy beside him.

Finished

Klay gave a small nod. A firedragon surged up from him, roaring as it tore into the remaining zombies.
