Chapter 32 They’ll Only Slow Us Down
Now each of them smelled terrible. The stench was so strong it made people sick.

No one knew how these two girls made it this far. Their faces were clean, and their clothes were neat, like two fresh flowers. Just looking at them made his perverted thoughts intensify.
What made it even more exciting was that one had dark skin and one had light skin. He could hardly imagine–if he could push both girls onto a bed at the same time, what kind of pleasure that would be.
Just thinking about it made his whole body heat up. He almost wanted to rush over right now and take them!
He said with a cruel smile. “Don’t leave, girls. Life out there isn’t easy right now. I think you two look nice. If you want, just stay here. I can protect you. That way, you don’t have to suffer outside in the wind and
sun.
Before Robin and the others could speak, a woman suddenly pushed her way through the crowd from the back.
She swayed her hips and grabbed Max’s arm, smiling sweetly. “No way, that won’t do. Boss, you’re not really going to let them stay, are you?
“We already don’t have much food. If they stay, that’s three more mouths to feed for nothing.
“Look at them–two weak girls and one skinny guy. If they join us, they’ll only slow us down!”
Dane was furious. Skinny guy
Me?
Robin looked at the woman, and a hint of curiosity appeared in her eyes.
The woman was very beautiful, the kind that could outshine celebrities. Even though her face was pale and covered in dust, it couldn’t hide her perfect features. Her body was also amazing. If this weren’t the apocalypse, she’d have had many people chasing after her.
And it seemed like her position in this group wasn’t ordinary either. Everyone else looked dirty and worn out, but she alone still kept a kind of neatness that was completely different from the rest.
The woman swayed his arm in a soft, flirty way, her body almost pressing against him. “Boss, I really don’t want three more person to feed.”
Robin clearly saw that the people behind them were all looking at the woman with deep dislike.
“Hahaha.”
Max clearly enjoyed her gentle, sweet act. He reached out and wrapped his arm around her slim waist. In front of everyone, his big hand slid down and grabbed her hips a couple of times.
For a moment, the woman’s face stiffened, but it was quickly replaced by a charming smile.
She acted cute, her pretty eyes seeming to sparkle. “Please? Let’s not keep them…

Watching her twist around like a snake, Ella felt her stomach turn. The way she talked made it sound like they even wanted to stay here. What kind of person was this woman?
Max’s hands kept moving, but his voice turned cold. “No.”
The woman froze, then pouted. “Why not!”
Max pulled her into his arms in a forceful way. “Jessica, you know I’ve always been kind to women. These two came from nowhere. If we just let them go, what if they bring trouble back later? The safest way would be to throw them out to the zombies. But how could I do that?”
The woman, Jessica Norton, let out a small, mocking laugh. “I don’t think they even have the guts to cause trouble.”
Max said. “That won’t do. Even if they’re not bad people, they’re just two young girls all alone. They finally found a group like us. If we chase them away like this, doesn’t that make us look too heartless?”
Dane was speechless.
Wow. So I’m just invisible now?
How are these two girls “all alone“?!
Even if he didn’t stand out next to these two, he shouldn’t be ignored this completely!
Jessica raised her small fists and lightly hit Max’s chest. “You’re so mean. You know I love you the most, and you know I’ll get jealous, but you still act like this. If you really insist on letting them stay, I–I’m going to get mad!”
If this were normal times, this would have been a cute and lovely scene.
But now, Jessica’s hair was messy, her face dirty, and there was even dried gunk at the corners of her eyes. She looked clearly unclean. Max was even worse–he hadn’t washed for a long time. His teeth were covered in yellow stains, and his whole body gave off a smell that was hard to describe.
The two of them standing together, doing such sickly sweet actions, was almost too much to look at.
Just then, someone suddenly rushed down from upstairs in a panic, his face full of fear. “This is bad, Boss, really bad! The zombies we locked up before–someone let them out! The outside is full of zombies now!”
“What?!”
The whole group exploded in anger.
“We worked so hard to trap those zombies! Now that they’re out, how are we supposed to go
outside?!”
