End of the World? I'm the Boss novel Chapter 394

End Times Surviving with My Beastly Army

Chapter 394 The Dean of Studies

That single sentence left everyone speechless.

Some of them had only ever seen the Dean of Studies from a distance.

45 Pearis

There was nothing human left about him. His chest had beerr torn open into a gaping hole, exposing organs long since rotted. How could there be even a trace of humanity left?

EEven if he doesn’t have a heart anymore, can’t he still remember us somehow?

Robin almost laughed in anger when she heard that. Zombies don’t have hearts, and they definitely don’t have brains! They don’t even have thoughts! Maybe later they’ll evolve into something capable of thinking, but there’s no way a mere Level 5 zombie could do that.

If you really can’t bring yourself to attack him, I won’t stop you.”

She said, Go ahead and walk up to him. See if he shows you any mercy.

The student hesitated, then finally fell silent.

Robin let out a long, heavy breath.

Humans were truly complicated creatures.

At their worst, they could be utterly ruthless, willing to turn on even the people closest to them just to survive.

And yet, when faced with a zombie that might still retain the faintest shred of humanity, they would cling stubbornly to the idea of sparing it, as if that could somehow redeem the monster.

Everyone rested for the night, and early the next morning, they all threw themselves into clearing out the zombies!

Robin, meanwhile, took Ella along with Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter, and headed straight for the academic building where the Level 5 zombie was most likely to appear.

Sharon and her group went with them as well.

After all, as the leader of the Ravenholt Base, Sharon needed to grow stronger as quickly as possible. In a situation like this, her presence was essential.

Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter were responsible for cutting down any zombies that approached.

With those four killing machines holding the line, not a single zombie could get close to the group.

At last, they successfully reached the building.

Zombies had their own hierarchy.

Before they could even get close, a squad of Level 2 and Level 3 zombies rushed at them, clearly trying to stop Robin’s group from advancing.

But to them now, these zombies posed no real threat.

The team moved forward slowly but steadily, pushing deeper into the building.

The deeper they went, the colder the air became. The interior was decayed and stale, the air thick with the sour stench of rot and microbial decay.

Human remains were scattered everywhere in the hallways, piled up in dense, horrifying heaps. The dead lay in all manner of twisted positions, their deaths clearly brutal. On some faces that were still intact, faint traces of terror could still be seen. Most had been bitten to death while trying to flee. Their blueandwhite school uniforms were soaked in blood, now oxidized into a dark, filthy brown. The sight was deeply unsettling.

Even though they had all been through countless battles, facing a scene like this still stirred something indescribable within them.

Especially for the studentsmost of those lying here had once been their classmates

Just two months ago, they had been carefree, chasing each other through these very halls. And now, those same classmates lie here like this.

As her gaze swept over the bodies, Sharon couldn’t help but press her lips tightly together.

Ah!

With a sudden roar, Winter reacted instantly. A sharp blade formed along his arm, and he thrust it forward without hesitation!

Clang!

Given his strength, that strike should have pierced straight through even a Level 3 zombie!

But to everyone’s surprise, the moment the attack connected, it rang out like metal striking metal, sparks flying from the impact.

Winter was forced back several steps by the recoil, his expression turning serious. It’s a Level 4 zombie!

Everyone looked up and saw ita twisted zombie crouched low to the ground. Its filthy, matted hair hung in clumps, its body emaciated to the point of being little more than skin and bone. Yet strangely, it didn’t look weak at all.
