Chapter 448 One Minute of Rest
In that single, devastating burst, every Level 1 and Level 2 zombie in the swarm had been wiped out.
What remained were the higher–level zombies–still roaring, still attacking, but noticeably diminished. Most of the Level 3s were already missing limbs.
The level 4s and 5s weren’t badly hurt, but they had definitely feit it.
What… the…?
Langston was thunderstruck.
He’d suspected Robin’s group was extraordinary.
But he hadn’t anticipated this.
The low–level zombies Robin’s team had eliminated weren’t dangerous on their own, but their sheer numbers had been draining Heningford Base’s stamina and morale and bogging down the counterattack
Now, in three seconds flat, that problem had ceased to exist.
Dave’s head was throbbing. “You–I thought you had lightning ability?!”
That snow just now…
That’s ice ability!
Have I gotten it wrong?
No–my memory wasn’t that bad. Robin had shown me her lightning ability just yesterday afternoon. So, how was it uddenly ice?
Unless…
The realization hit him like a freight train, and his eyes went wide.
One person with two abilities.
In all his time at Heningford Base, he’d never seen anything like Robin.
Robin said coolly. “So, are we ready to follow orders now?”
The Assault Squad captain swallowed hard, his eye twitching. “Damn… Where the hell did Commander Calloway find these monsters?”
Are these people even human?
They were basically human weapons.
No wonder Langston had handed over command so easily. Now, it all made sense

Having witnessed the display firsthand, the elite squad thembers didn’t dare utter another word of protest They scrambled back to the wall immediately.
“Ms. Neel…”
The Cleanup Squad captain scratched the back of his head sheepishly. “Sorry about before. We shouldn’t have questioned you.”
Robin’s voice was even. “Understandable. I would’ve done the same.”
She waved her hand, and a crate of water bottles materialized on the ground.
“You have one minute. Drink, rest, and recover. The hard part isn’t over.”
The low–level zombies were gone, but thousands of higher–level dnes remained, and they wouldn’t go down easily.
Before her battle plan could begin, she needed every fighter at peak readiness.
“One minute?”
A Decoy Squad member looked like he’d misheard. “Even if we’re resting, sh–shouldn’t it be at least 10 minutes? One minute barely gives us time to catch our breath…”
“Exactly. If it’s only one minute, you might as well not have called us back at all.”
“Is that… water?”
One of the squad members gulped involuntarily.
After hours of fighting, they were parched.
‘You heard me correctly.”
Robin said. “One minute. Drink, rest. That’s all the water there is. Divide it among yourselves however you see fit.”
“This…”
The squad members exchanged uncertain looks.
But Robin had already proven herself beyond any shadow of doubt, and she held absolute comum and For the sake of winning this battle, they had to comply.
The three squads shared a glance and silently began opening the water bottles
One minute…
What good is one minute going to do?
Wait–what?!
The moment the cool, sweet water hit their throats, every single one of them knew something was

This…
They stared at each other in shock as the truth sank in: one minute might actually be enough
With each swallow, their stamina and mental strength recovered at a visible, almost miraculous rate
