End Times. Surviving with My Beastly Army
Chapter 456 Level 6 Crystal Core
Finished
Robin’s mental energy surged outward, amplifying the cold until even nearby zombies were caught in the freeze, their movements slowing to a crawl.
“Roar! Rooarrr!”
i
The zombie thrashed desperately. Somewhere in the shadows, the intelligent zombie controlling the swarm recognized Robin’s strategy and issued a retreat order.
“You think you’re getting away?”
Robin’s lips curved, and something dark and predatory flickered behind her eyes. “Nobody walks out of a fight with me halfway through!”
With her final push, the water–type zombie was entombed in solid ice–a grotesque sculpture frozen mid- howl.
But she wasn’t done.
Robin exhaled, her hands still radiating cold.
She’d pushed her ice ability to its absolute ceiling. The water–type zombie’s flowing, evasive fighting style was the perfect counter to the Violet Reaper’s raw, destructive power.
But if its advantage was being flexible, she would just haye to harden it.
Controlling a Level 6 zombie’s freeze wasn’t easy. Her mental strength was draining fast, and she downed a Mental Potion mid–combat to keep up the output.
The ice layer nearly cracked several times, but in the end, Robin won the tug–of–war.
“Whew…”
Whether it was her past life or this one, this was the first time she’d ever solo’d a Level 6 zombie.
Glancing across the field, she could see that the others were struggling badly.
“Catch.”
She flicked her wrist, and a handful of potions arced through the air, landing neatly in each of her teammates‘ hands.
Their eyes widened at the sight.
They knew exactly what these were.
Without a second’s hesitation, every one of them downed their porion in a single gulp. The liquid hit their throats, and their stamina and mental strength began to recover almost immediately.
“Ella”

Robin said. “Come here. I need your fists.”
Ella glanced at the strength–type zomble she’d been fighting. She was about to object, but Robin had already read her mind. “I’ll take over your fight.”
“Done.”

The two women locked eyes for a fraction of a second, and in the next instant, they’d swapped positions seamlessly. Robin was already engaging with Ella’s zombie.
“Now, that’s a big ice sculpture…”
Ella stared, impressed, cracking her knuckles. “You want me to smash it to pieces?”
Robin was succinct. “Into fragments.”
Everyone knew that when something was frozen solid enough, it became brittle.
“Clever.”
Ella clenched her fists.
But from the look of things, this approach only worked on the water–type zombie.
Though zombies originated from humans, their biological makeup was entirely different. They were severely dehydrated, making them incredibly difficult to freeze solid.
But as luck would have it, a massive reason Robin was able to lock it down so easily was because she had turned its own elemental affinity into its worst enemy.
The Healing Potion Robin had given her earlier was already working. The wounds on her knuckles had completely closed.
She felt incredible.
Her foot slammed into the ground, and she launched herself forward like a missile.
Boom!
Her fist connected with the ice, and the entire frozen mass shuddered violently. Fractures spiderwebbed across its surface with a series of sharp, staccato cracks.
Ella watched, her breath held, praying nothing went wrong.
