Chapter 487 Useless
And it was all because of Robin.
Ella turned her head and looked at the woman calmly controlling the helicopter.
The wind had tousled Robin’s hair.
Ella suddenly felt grateful.
The luckiest thing that had ever happened to her was meeting Robin and becoming her teammate.
Robin looked cold on the outside, but she had always treated them well.
Robin quickly found the same touch she had in her previous life. She handled the helicopter with practiced skill, and the flight was incredibly smooth.
The helicopter behind them, however, was a different story.
Henry swallowed nervously. His palms were already sweaty.
He fumbled with the controls, causing the helicopter to shake and sway through the air.
Dylan, on the other hand, remained perfectly calm. He gave clear instructions one after another.
Hearing Dylan’s steady voice, Henry gradually found his rhythm. The helicopter soon became much steadier.
One helicopter followed the other as they flew straight toward Kapitol.
Knowing that she was getting closer and closer to Hazel filled Robin with excitement.
Mom… I’m finally coming. Are you looking forward to seeing me too?
Five hours later, the helicopters slowly landed in a suburban area outside Kapitol.
Hearing the noise, the surrounding zombies rushed toward them,/dragging their tongues and roaring wildly.
Klay immediately unleashed a stream of fire. Every Level 3 zombie and below instantly turned to ashes.
Even the Level 4 and higher zombies suffered severe burns, their bodies covered in large black scorch , marks.
Robin glanced at the scene in surprise. “Klay, you ranked up again?”
Looking a little embarrassed, Klay replied, “I broke through while we were flying here. But I’m still not as strong as everyone else.”
Henry jumped out of the other helicopter, his face full of excitement. “Oh my God! I actually flew all the way here! Five whole hours! Do you have any idea how I survived those five hours?”
He hadn’t dared relax for even a second. He was terrified that something would go wrong.

Ivan looked at the zombies that had been reduced to ashes with envy.
We’re both fire ability users. So why are my flames black and completely harmless?
What is my ability even good for?
Although he had an ability too, he never seemed to be useful to the team.
His mood sank.
“Hey, what’s wrong?” Monica asked, nudging him with her elbow.
Ivan flinched.
He quickly hid his feelings and forced a smile. “It’s nothing…”
Monica didn’t believe him for a second. She stared thoughtfully at the piles of ashes, as if she had already figured something out. “Do you think your ability is useless? Is that why you’re feeling down?”
Ivan’s true thoughts had been exposed. His pale face instantly turned bright red. “No… That’s not it…” he said awkwardly.
Monica ignored his denial.
She kept looking ahead, though it wasn’t clear what she was staring at. “What do you think of me?”
Ivan froze. The question caught him completely off guard, and he stumbled over his words. “You’re… You’re amazing. You’re really strong, really skilled, and really cool…”
Monica couldn’t help laughing.
“So you think I’m strong?”
Ivan nodded seriously.
“Of course! You’re an incredible fighter. I don’t know if you ever played that video game before the apocalypse, but you remind me of one of the heroes in it. You’re both mysterious, and whenever you attack, you always land the deadliest blow.”
