**Chapter 244: Sibling Rivalry**

“Sign this.”

With a flick of his wrist, he tossed a document across the table. It landed with a soft thud, and Bianca’s heart raced as she glanced down at it, her pupils constricting in horror.

It was a parental rights termination agreement. The clauses were meticulously detailed, outlining her complete relinquishment of rights to Hubert. It wasn’t just a formality; it was a definitive severing of the bond that had once connected them—a bond she had nurtured for ten long months.

“No! I won’t sign!” Panic surged within her. Signing meant losing her last thread of hope, her final bargaining chip. Once it was gone, she would truly have nothing left to cling to.

Jasper’s eyes narrowed, a dangerous glint flickering within their depths. “Don’t make me repeat myself.” His voice was low, laced with a threat that sent shivers down her spine.

“Jasper! You can’t do this! Hubert is the child I carried! You can’t just make this decision on your own!” The desperation in her voice was palpable, echoing in the tense air between them.

His gaze hardened further, chilling her to the core. “You are not worthy to be his mother.” The words hung in the air like a death sentence, each syllable a dagger aimed at her heart.

“Regardless of what you think, I gave birth to him! He is my flesh and blood! I love him! Please, just give me another chance!” Her voice cracked, tears brimming in her eyes as she pleaded with him.

“Either sign, or…” He paused, a cruel smile twisting his lips, revealing the darkness within. “Spend the rest of your life in the rehab center. How does that sound?”

Her eyes widened in disbelief. “Re-rehab center? But isn’t it gone?” The memories flooded back—three years ago, when Jasper had destroyed that place, reducing it to smoldering ruins.

“It still exists.” His tone was dismissive, as if he were discussing something trivial.

He waved his hand dismissively, and a familiar figure stepped into the room—Darren. The sight of him sent a chill through Bianca, her body going rigid with fear.

“Take her.” Jasper’s command was cold and unyielding.

As Darren advanced, she screamed, panic rising like bile in her throat. “Don’t come near me! I won’t go! I’ll sign! I’ll sign right now!”

With trembling hands, she snatched the pen from the table, her heart racing as she hastily scrawled her name.

Jasper picked up the document, scrutinizing her signature with a predatory gleam in his eyes. Only after confirming it did he signal for her release.

Bianca stumbled out of the room, her heart pounding in her chest. The thought of being dragged back to that hellish place, to suffer the same fate as Tatiana, filled her with dread. She could hardly breathe as she fled, unaware that this ‘Darren’ was not the real Darren. How could Jasper allow someone who had directly harmed Tatiana to remain alive?

As soon as she was out of sight, ‘Darren’ peeled off the silicone mask, revealing a smirk. “Boss, should we dispose of her?”

**Chapter 244: Sibling Rivalry**

Gordon’s rage reached a boiling point. “Brother turning against brother! Is this what I taught you? Even if you despise him, you didn’t have to do it yourself!”

Finally, Jasper spoke, his voice steady and cold. “I held back.”

“Bullshit! You call that holding back? You left him barely alive! He’s in intensive care, critical condition. Notices have been issued several times! He’s still not out of danger!”

A fierce light sparked in Jasper’s eyes. “He’s not dead.”

Gordon finally grasped the reality of the situation. The man before him felt no remorse whatsoever. “Tell me honestly, how did he provoke you?”

It was about Tatiana. Jasper remained silent, the weight of the truth heavy on his shoulders.

Gordon, almost overcome with rage, considered ordering more lashes but stopped himself, taking in the state of Jasper’s back. “Fine! Even if you have a grudge, even if you want to act, at least be discreet! Hide it! Now the media is all over it! Do you know what they’re calling you outside? A fratricidal, bloody tyrant, demon brother… they’re painting you as inhuman!”

Harpie was clever, even in his severely injured state. He sought revenge with a cunning plan. He contacted reporters, sensationalizing his injuries, leaking gruesome photos that ignited a public uproar. People were shocked by his condition, condemning the reclusive Jasper. Harpie’s fans fanned the flames, and even Jackson Corp’s stock began to fluctuate.

This was why Gordon was so furious. Keeping family scandals under wraps was a long-standing rule of the Jackson family, and now it was all out in the open.
