Chapter 346 A Warning
God, this woman’s marksmanship was accurate.
“Ta…”
Alita stared at her blankly.
“Stand back.”

Tatiana took a breath, dropped the gun, and raised her hands. “Sorry. I didn’t mean to resist. It was just a reflex.”
“Clap. Clap. Clap.”
Someone was applauding.
Captain Hanson hadn’t missed the exciting scene.
Who would have thought a seemingly weak woman could have such aim?
“Not bad. You’ve had training with a gun?”
Tatiana hesitated. She wasn’t sure if she had, either. That had been pure instinct.
“Probably.”
“Pretty impressive.”
After the captain gave a casual compliment, his sharp gaze landed on the subordinate whose gun Tatiana had taken. A shiver of fear went down the man’s spine. He was just about to beg for mercy when he was shot dead.
Tatiana’s breath hitched. She stared blankly at the gun in the captain’s hand.
“Looks like my aim is a bit better than yours.”
That shot was even more precise than Tatiana’s.
“Did I scare you? Trash who lets his weapon be taken isn’t fit to be my subordinate.”
The surrounding pirates weren’t surprised; it seemed they were used to it.
On the contrary, the prisoners who had just been in an uproar were now completely cowed, even their breathing quieted.
“Dr. Tatiana, you continue. Don’t disappoint me.”
This was a warning.
After the men left, Alita slumped to the ground, weak–kneed. The bodies had already been dragged away by the pirates and thrown into the sea to feed the fish.

The remaining prisoners didn’t dare cause trouble. Even their gazes toward Tatiana were now filled with fear, not the anger from before.
This wasn’t a doctor, this was a demon in disguise.
“Are you okay?”
“I’m fine. You were amazing. Thank you for saving me.”
“Don’t say that. Get up first.”
She forced herself to forget the scene and continued directing people to thoroughly clean the entire hold, re–checking every prisoner for any signs of illness.
This time, she did find several who had been hiding their condition.
The severe cases were hauled out; those with early symptoms were allowed to stay.
She didn’t soften at their pleading. She herself was just a captive, struggling to survive. How could she possibly save everyone?
The ship’s doctor was dead, but his medical chest remained, and it now all belonged to Tatiana.
The pirates feared death, too. But no legitimate doctor would ever willingly join them, and illegal doctors charged high prices and were cowards who refused to come. Any doctors they captured by force never lived long. This led them to just steal medicine instead.
The stolen medicine was piled in a storehouse. If someone got sick, they’d find a drug to take. If it worked, they lived. If not, they were thrown overboard to feed the sharks. Everything was left to the sea god’s will.
Tatiana made a point to search the pharmacy and was pleasantly surprised. She found a lot of useful medicine.
After the patients took the medicine, their symptoms began to ease,
Even the pirates were a little surprised. This person really was a doctor?
By morning, the death toll had plummeted, and those with mild symptoms were clearly in much better spirits.
Tatiana had worked all night. Exhausted, she collapsed into a dead sleep. She was in the former ship’s doctor’s room. She didn’t find it unlucky; she was simply too tired to care.
Meanwhile…
‘Tatiana‘ personally took Ann and Hubert on an outing.
After a few days of rest, her body was much better, and she had proactively suggested taking the children
out.
Jasper was worried and specifically put aside his work to accompany them.
The weather was perfect, with just the right amount of sunshine.
