Chapter 680 Mountains Of Damning Evidence
She didn’t push. She just told him to be careful.
She took the files and brought them to Foster.
“What’s this?”
“Take a look.”
Foster flipped through casually-then his expression changed. He started reading seriously.
“Useful?”
“About twenty more years added to his sentence.”
Tatiana smiled, “Good.
“I need to organize this and gather evidence. It’ll take some time.
“I’ll postpone the wedding.”
“Won’t that raise suspicion?”
“No. I’ll handle it perfectly.
“Good. I’ll work as fast as I can. Also-the other two have been confirmed. They don’t have the tape.”
Tatiana’s eyes sharpened, “Then it’s definitely with Liam.”
Foster didn’t understand, “They’re father and son. Why would the son hide something that could destroy his own father?”
Tatiana thought of the few times she’d seen Jack, “Do you think someone capable of doing so many terrible things could be a good father?”
Foster understood.
Just a façade of father-son affection.
With Jack’s bloodline, how could he raise a son without an agenda?
Where he hid the tape… Sherry would probably know.
This gamble couldn’t be lost.
Meanwhile.
Sherry looked at the bags the nanny had packed and fell silent.
Liam was still giving instructions, “You’ll go first. Everything’s arranged on that end. You don’t need to worry. My official documents will be ready soon-you won’t be waiting long.”
Sherry touched her slightly rounded belly and lowered her eyes, “Liam, do I really have to go?”
Liam stepped forward and hugged her.
“Silly girl. What are you so worried about?”
When he was gentle, it meant the lie underneath was bigger.
“I’m worried you’re just getting rid of me.”
“How could that be? You’re carrying my child. I’d never just ship you off.”
Right. You want the baby, not me.
The coldness in Sherry’s eyes deepened. She decided to give him one final chance.
She looked at him and asked, “Liam, are you absolutely sure there’s nothing you’re keeping from me?”
He pressed a kiss to the top of her head, “What would I have to hide? All I want is for you to rest and bring a healthy son into this world.”
“Really? You’re not just rushing me out of here so I don’t stumble onto something I shouldn’t?”
