Chapter 692 John Ruins The Funeral Rite
Finished.
Tammy’s eyes turned red. She bit her lip, I understand. Then tell Tatiana-once she’s done, I can come anytime.”
“I will.”
Jasper was about to leave. He hesitated, then said. “My condolences.”
Tammy just said, “Mm.”
Jasper flew back.
Norman had business to handle and left.
Tammy’s mood hit rock bottom.
All day, her spirits stayed heavy.
Anyone could see she wasn’t doing well.
But some people had no sense.
Lucas’s death had been kept quiet-no one else was told. No idea how John found out. But he came with a group to cause trouble at the funeral hall.
This time, John had learned his lesson. He didn’t come alone. He brought dozens of men-expensive hires, including fighters and boxers.
He was covering his bases-looking to settle the score.
They burst in and smashed the vases first.
Shards scattered. The fresh flowers inside were crushed under boots.
Those were flowers she’d picked herself from the mountains.
Tammy stared at the ruined flowers. Her eyes went cold.
John’s face was full of open sneering and contempt. He glanced at Lucas’s portrait and spat.
“Wow. My dear brother’s funeral-pretty decent, huh?”
His voice was loud, deliberately crude, shattering the last bit of peace in the hall.
Tammy spun around. Her black dress cut a sharp arc.
Her gaze had gone from grief to frozen ice.
“John. You’re not welcome here. Get out.”
John laughed like she’d just told the funniest joke. His men laughed along.

He walked to the center of the hall, past her glare, and swept the white chrysanthemums and pastries off
the altar.
The plate shattered on the floor with a screech.
“Not welcome? I’m his big brother! I’m here to send him off–that’s only right!”
He walked to the coffin and slapped the lid, each mack like a knife to Tammy’s heart.
“My dear brother. Lived your whole life as a failure-but you finally did something ‘big’? For a woman? Threw your life away?”
With every word, Tammy’s face grew darker.
“Get out!”
John was a little scared of her-but he’d brought a lot of men. Good fighters. No way they’d lose to one
woman.
He’d done his homework. Waited until she was alone.
Made sure no one would help her.
That gave him confidence. With Lucas dead, the last of his fear was gone. Old grudges and new fury-he was going to make her pay.
“Get out? I’m here to take back the Lund family’s stuff/Who do you think you are to stand here?”
He pointed at the coffin, his voice venomous, “Smash everything! She’s the reason he died-he’s a disgrace to the Lund family! Worthless piece of-”
“Shut up!”
Tammy moved.
She was just a blur.
No one saw how she got there. Just a crack-the closest man’s wrist bent at a sick angle. He screamed and dropped.
The funeral hall instantly fell silent. John’s voice came to an abrupt halt.
The smug expression on his face froze, and his eyes widened in disbelief.
Then Tammy moved like a ghost through the crowd.
Her moves were vicious, precision strikes-not normal fighting.
Elbows. Knees. Joint locks. Each hit landed on the weakest spots. Cracks and thuds followed
The men dropped like wheat.
