Aaron fixed his gaze on Britney. “Britney, is what she’s saying true?”

‘Did Britney really force Patti to leave back then?’ Aaron wondered.

At that thought, a hint of delight appeared in Aaron’s eyes as he looked at Britney.

‘Does this mean Britney still has feelings for me?’ Aaron wondered.

The more he dwelled on it, the more excited Aaron became.

Britney didn’t even spare Aaron a glance. “Where’s your brain at She points the finger at me and you just buy it?”

Sometimes, Britney couldn’t help but marvel at Aaron’s twisted logic.

‘Honestly, whatever Patti says goes for him. If she told him to drop dead, would he actually do it?’ Britney thought, rolling her eyes.

Aaron was momentarily at a loss for words, his expression shifting. “If it wasn’t you, then why did Patti leave me back then? Britney, just admit it already.”

As soon as Aaron spoke, the livestream chat blew up.

When Patti heard Aaron questioning Britney, she thought he actually believed her.

Her eyes were watery as she looked at Aaron. “Aaron, I’m telling he truth. I never wanted to leave, but Britney had people block me everywhere, kept making trouble for me, and even to my clothes off to take a bunch of compromising photos and videos. I’ve got all the evidence right here.”

As she spoke, Patti pulled out a stack of photos and tossed them o Aaron.

Aaron looked down and saw the humiliating photos of Patti.

There were plenty of pictures where her clothes were in disarray

Aaron’s hands trembled as he held the photos, and the cold look in his eyes was instantly replaced by heartache.

He looked at Patti with a complicated expression. “Patti, come down first. We’ll talk after you come down.”

Britney’s presentation had made Aaron so disappointed in Patti that he was ready to just walk away. But now, after seeing Patti break down and hearing her side of the story, plus those photos, all his protective instincts for her came flooding back.

Aaron had always wondered how Patti could change so much, to the point where she was almost a stranger to him.

Now, he finally had his answer.

If Britney had been tormenting Patti from the very start, then no wonder she’s out for payback now.

Patti shook her head, tears streaming down her face. “I can’t take this anymore, Aaron. Britney wouldn’t let me go three years ago, and she still won’t let me go now. What’s the point of living? Maybe I’d be better off dead, just like Britney wants.”

“Britney, you’re the one pushing me to my death! Even if I die and come back as a ghost, I won’t ever let you go,” Patti screamed at Britney, her voice raw with pain.

Aaron’s voice trembled. “Patti, don’t do anything rash. Let me handle this for you. Don’t do anything stupid.”

“Can you really take care of this for me?” Patti sobbed, meeting Aaron’s pained gaze.

Aaron nodded.

Patti pointed straight at Britney. “Then make her own up to everything she did to me. Make her get down on her knees, kowtow, and beg for forgiveness.

“If Britney won’t admit it and apologize for what she put me through, I’ll jump right now. I’m not bluffing. I’ll do it, and you’ll see what she’s pushed me to.”

She shifted, most of her body already hanging out over the railing.

But her hands were still gripping the railing for dear life.

Britney had been silent ever since Patti threw the photos down. Her eyes lingered on the scattered pictures, and she bent down to pick one up, studying it closely.

Aaron shot Britney a sidelong glance. “Britney, no matter how much you claim to love me, that doesn’t give you the right to hurt Patti like this.”

“Patti ended up depressed because of the way you treated her. Do you have anything to say for yourself?”

Just based on Patti’s one-sided story, Aaron chose to believe her gain.

He didn’t even bother to check the facts. He just pinned everything on Britney.

Fredrick let out a cold laugh. “So just because you say it’s Britney, that makes it gospel? Well, I say it’s all on you. Patti’s been driven crazy by her unrequited love for you. You’re the real villain here, Aaron.”

Fredrick didn’t wait for Britney to speak. He stepped right up.

He fired back at Aaron before Britney could even get a word in.

“Why are you butting in. Fredrick? Just desperate for attention, h?” Aaron glared at Fredrick, clearly annoyed.

Aaron had never been able to stand Fredrick, not even a little.

Fredrick just snorted, totally unfazed. “Hey, I’m just a reasonable onlooker, voicing my opinion. What’s wrong with that? Or are we not allowed to speak our minds anymore?

“Oh, my bad, but I just can’t stand you two low-lives clinging to Britney with your dirty tricks. You never quit, do you? It’s like a bunch of toads hopping around, making everyone sick.”

He looked downright disgusted as he finished.

That made Aaron absolutely furious.

Fredrick totally redirected Aaron’s anger, so much that Aaron couldn’t even focus on grilling Britney anymore. Fredrick was now standing his ground, demanding that Britney apologize to Patti without a hint of hesitation.

At this point, Aaron just wanted to strangle Fredrick for meddling in his business.

Britney held a photo between her fingers, her face unreadable as she shot a glance at Patti, who was sneakily edging herself away from the railing. A mocking smirk played on Britney’s lips Are you done with your performance?”

But Britney wasn’t rattled in the slightest.

As soon as Aaron heard Britney, he snapped, “Britney, do you even have a shred of empathy? Not only are you refusing to help, you’re just standing there making things worse! Are you even human?”

“Human? Please. If you’re so head-over-heels, why don’t you go jump with her?” Britney shot Aaron a mocking sideways glance.

Aaron clammed up immediately.

Britney’s lips curled into a sneer. “If you’re not gonna jump, then why are you yapping like a dog over here? You think anyone actually wants to hear it?”

The way Aaron clammed up after that was almost hilarious. The silence was so loud that it echoed.
