Everything Taken I Left to Become CEO (Darcy and Zane) novel Chapter 92

Chapter 92

Chapter 92

Fredrick’s laughter earned him a glare from Aaron.

Britney’s unpredictable play left Patti at a loss.

She instinctively glanced at Sienna, who’d been silently standing next to Aaron the whole time.

Britney noticed Patti’s gaze and followed it.

She saw Sienna, head down, just fiddling with her nails like she hadn’t even noticed Patti looking at her.

Britney was starting to put the pieces together in her mind.

She leaned over and whispered something to the firefighter next to her, who’d been trying to talk her down.

Then she turned back to Patti and said, “Are you really fooling yourself, Patti? No wonder you can just dump all the dirt on me without batting an eye.”

“Did you really think I didn’t know why you left Aaron all those years ago?” Britney retorted.

Just those words were enough to make Patti’s face drain of color in utter shock.

Patti’s eyes

showed a trace of panic as she shook her head, unease creeping in.

She refused to believe Britney really knew what happened back then.

Britney had already seen this reaction coming.

She stared at Patti with a half-smile that was hard to read.

Aaron narrowed his eyes. “What do you mean?”

‘Could the truth from back then really be flipped on its head?’ Aaron wondered, his heart pounding.

His heart was in his throat, anxiety tightening his chest.

Not just Aaron, but everyone watching the livestream was on the edge of their seats, waiting for another twist in the drama.

Britney didn’t even spare Aaron a glance, completely ignoring his question.

Aaron’s face was thunderous from being ignored.

Patti’s eyes

darted around anxiously, her nerves shot. She was at total loss for what to do.

In her distracted state, her foot suddenly slipped and she pitched forward over the railing.

Patti let out a terrified scream.

She flailed wildly, trying to steady herself. ‘I don’t want to die. I ever really meant it, she thought in panic.

Quick as a flash, a firefighter lunged forward, grabbed Patti, andauled her back to safety,

Her body, which had lunged forward, was yanked back, but her hot still slammed hard into the railing.

The pain was so intense it felt like her whole body was being tor apart, but all that agony still couldn’t drown out her fear of dying.

Parti’s face was ghostly pale, cold sweat covering her skin as she collapsed to the floor, her whole body trembling uncontrollably.

Britney and Fredrick just watched this whole dramatic suicide scene with icy detachment.

Even Aaron didn’t move to help.

Aaron didn’t take his eyes off Britney for a second.

Britney glanced at the chaos, her gaze settling on the tiny came at Patti’s collar. “You only left Aaron because Amara thought you weren’t good enough for her family,” she said.

“Patti, Amara handed you some money to ditch Aaron. You took the cash and vanished, living it up somewhere far away,” Britney continued.

her on blast.

Britney knew right away Patti wasn’t really planning to kill herself when Patti went live to put

‘If someone really wanted to die, would they make such a huge scene about it?’ Britney thought.

It was only recently that Britney learned the real reason Patti had come back to Breim for Aaron.

Britney figured, as long as Patti kept to herself and didn’t bother her, she didn’t care what Patti did with Aaron.

She could just pretend she never saw that file at all.

“You’re lying, Britney! You’re just making me the scapegoat! You couldn’t win Aaron’s heart, so you forced me out!” Patti yelled, sprawled messily on the floor, struggling to push herself p.

But her injured foot wouldn’t let her.

Patti crashed back down, flailing wildly like a cornered beast, trying to claw her way toward Britney.

But a dying animal had no real menace left.

To Britney, Patti was just a pathetic clown trying to stir up drama

Britney felt zero sympathy. ‘There’s always a reason why the so-called victims end up being hated, she thought.

Britney looked down at Patti, who was still struggling on the floor. “You took the money, trusted some so-called artist with it, and he conned you out of every cent. Left with nothing, you came running back to Aaron.

“You used depression as your excuse to worm your way back to Aaron, just so he’d feel sorry for you and take you in again. And you actually pulled it off. So what, you’re depressed? Big deal. You keep putting on suicide shows again and again, but did you ever really mean it?”

She curled her lips into a cold, mocking smile. “If you’d actually lied even once, maybe I’d respect you. But you don’t even have depression, Patti. It’s just a trick to get men to pity you. The Oscars owe you a trophy. It’s a shame you’re not in Hollywood.”

Right in front of everyone, Britney exposed Patti’s act for all to se, not sparing her at all.

Britney had already found out. Patti never had depression.

She just paid off a doctor to forge some medical records, all so se could get back with Aaron.

Aaron was the only one who actually believed her, got totally played by Patti’s story.

He used her so-called depression as an excuse to look after her, ended up sleeping with her, then turned around and pretended it was nothing. Gross and fake as hell.

Patti screamed, her voice raw with rage. “Shut up! I didn’t do it! ritney, you bitch! Keep running your mouth and I’ll shut you up for good. You’re framing me, you damn bitch. Why don’ you just drop dead?

“All I ever wanted was to get back with Aaron. What’s so wrong with that? You’re the one to blame. You knew Aaron and 1 were together, but you shamelessly latched onto him and would’t let go. You bitch, you’re the real homewrecker here.

Even now, Patti still saw herself as the victim, convinced she’d done nothing wrong.

By not denying a single thing, her silence was as good as a confession to everything Britney had just called her out on.

Aaron just stood there, his head spinning, mind totally blank.

Patti’s shrill insults echoed in his ears, her face twisted in rage right in front of him.

It finally hit him that Patti had been playing him for a fool from lay one. This whole thing was just her scam.

All that crap about Britney driving her away, the depression sobtory. None of it was real. Patti had been lying to him the whole time.

‘So everything I did to Britney for this psycho. What was the point?’ Aaron thought.

Aaron glared furiously at Patti, who was still thrashing around like a lunatic. He stormed over, grabbed her hair, and yanked her up by the throat. “You lied to me? Was it all a lie? Patti, how could you lie to me like this?”

The more he thought about it, the more his rage boiled over. Aaron smacked her across the face, one after another, not holding back at all.

Patti’s curses at Britney were instantly silenced by the barrage of slaps.

Finally snapping back to reality, Patti crawled to Aaron’s feet, sobbing and frantically trying to explain herself. “Aaron, I swear I didn’t. Britney’s the one lying. She’s making it all up. It’s all Britney, that bitch. She’s the real culprit!”

“Shut up!” Aaron snarled, then lashed out with a vicious kick at Patti.

Patti went flying from the force of the blow.

Aaron, completely losing it, lunged at Patti, about to beat her down.

Sienna frantically rushed over, grabbing Aaron and holding him back before he could totally lose it.

The whole scene was pure chaos.

The livestream went dead right as Sienna rushed in to hold Aaron back.

Britney just watched, a flicker of disgust in her eyes.
