Exclusive love from Mr. CEO (Keira) novel Chapter 3

Chapter 3

The hashtag was trending high, and it was about to be the trendiest piece of news.

Her fingertips trembled.

She clicked on it. The first post was a video.

It was a fan edit of Marlee asking Andres for the bracelet.

At the ceremony, Andres had his back to Keira. She did not see his expression.

It was then that she noticed his face.

The usually stern man had a gentle smile as he carefully placed the bracelet onto Marlee’s wrist.

The shippers went wild in the comments. In less than half a day, the video had over three million likes.

The video looped automatically.

As it replayed the moment Andres casually removed the bracelet, Keira suddenly recalled the time she had put it on for him, his face full of surprise and love.

She raised her hand to clutch her chest, a dull, lingering pain taking over.

Her phone felt hot in her hand. She tossed it onto the desk.

The video ket playing, over and over again.

The night deepened, and the only light in the room came from the screen.

Someone opened the door, and the light flicked on.

Keira lifted her hand to shield her eyes. At that moment, her phone died.

When Andres saw her exhausted appearance, he furrowed his brow slightly.

“Why did you leave early? I searched everywhere before I realized you were gone.”

He walked over and reached out to touch her face.

Keira turned her head away, leaning against the nearby chair.

She looked up, her eyes betraying no emotion.

“Why do you look upset? Did someone upset you?” Andres asked nonchalantly,

Though she had already made up her mind, it wasn’t the first time he had treated her like this. Keira’s heart, which had just begun to settle, throbbed with pain once again.

She forced a smile, but it didn’t reach her eyes.

“Andres, the bracelet fits you perfectly. But for Marlee, it might be too big. Should I get it back and adjust it for her?”

Andres frowned, explaining, “On stage today, I couldn’t refuse her. Marlee is just going through a

phase, you know?”

“That bracelet doesn’t suit her anyway. If she gets tired of it, I’ll take it back in a few days.” Andres understood this was a bit inappropriate.

But on stage, he couldn’t bear to disappoint Marlee, even if it was just a playful remark.
