She plopped down on the sofa casually.

She was like a little kitten, not elegant like a rich lady, but lively and agile like a young girl.

Keira looked at the ceiling, lost in thought.

She was wondering if Andres would really announce their relationship publicly when she got a call from Everett.

After hearing what Everett said, she jumped up from the sofa in surprise.

“Mr. Watkins, is it true?” Keira sounded cheerful, her voice filled with uncontrollable excitement.

She was grinning from ear to ear, her eyes sparkling. There wasn’t a trace of worry left.

Kamden looked up at her from across. The short-sleeve T-shirt was way too big on her, and her long legs under the shorts were straight and slender. Her skin had a faint pink glow.

He couldn’t tear his eyes away from her.

Kamden’s Adam’s apple bobbed and he seemed to unintentionally pull his gaze back.

They said a few more words, and then the phone hung up.

Keira exclaimed happily, like a little groundhog.

She hugged Kamden excitedly. “Kamden, you know what? Mr. Watkins actually recommended me to be the assistant director!”

Kamden suddenly smelled her fragrance. His usually calm emotions were now like wild sea waves, threatening to drown him.

His Adam’s apple bobbed a bit. Feeling the softness in his arms, Kamden almost couldn’t stop himself from pulling Keira into his embrace.

But in the end, he just raised his hand and patted Keira’s soft waist. He lowered his smiled, “Not bad. You’ve taken another step toward your dream.”
