“No talking during meals. Keep quiet, or you’ll choke!” said Chelsea.

“You seemed a bit edgy today. Keira, I think we should get her some ice lemonade to chill her out,” Randall said, raising his hand like a kid in class.

Keira chuckled and agreed, “Sure.”

She added, “If you’re praying for love, it’s said that Mount Foraker will help. If you believe, it works. If you want to find it, go for it.”

Chelsea glanced up, her eyes wide and bright, like a playful deer.

Their eyes locked for a moment, and they both smiled.

She understood clearly those words were meant for her, even if they were directed at Randall.

“Randall, I won’t stop you from liking Marlee. That’s your call. It’s just… she and me…” Keira hesitated, unsure how to go on.

Randall surprisingly showed a glimmer of understanding.”Keira, don’t worry. I get it.”

Keira nodded, felt a bit relieved, and then heard him say in a silly tone, “If you don’t let her with Mr. Finley, she might get mad and it could affect me, right? Marlee probably won’t, but I’ll still listen to you and be more careful.”

Keira and Chelsea just stared at him, speechless

For a moment, Keira slowly nodded and said, “Yeah, as long as you get it.”

She was about to take off when she saw Andres’ car pull up and park next to them.

Marlee hopped out of the car, all smiles.”Keira, you’re still here! We brought you some snacks.”

As she walked over, the strong scent of her perfume hit Keira. Feeling a bit uncomfortable, Keira subtly stepped back to create some space.

“Thanks, but I’ve got other plans, so I’ll head our first,” said Keira.

Marlee glanced at her from behind, looking a bit upset.

Andres came over and quietly said, “Don’t take it personally. She’s always so grumpy.”
