Chapter 94
She was about to head out to grab a bite to eat.
Just as she got up, she heard the door unlock.
“Has Kamden come back?” she wondered.
Before she even had a chance to put on her shoes, she rushed over and saw Jordon helping a slightly tipsy man through the door.
“Ms. Hardin, why didn’t you let us know you came back?” Jordon asked right away.
“I didn’t mention it because I didn’t want to hold up Kamden’s plans. Kamden hardly ever drinks. What happened?” She was really shocked and quickly moved to support him.
Kamden was still in his sharp suit, tall and lean. He had broad shoulders and a narrow waist. His shirt was unbuttoned at the collar, showing off his nice collarbones.
He could stand, but his eyes were a bit glazed over.
Kamden, who could handle anything, didn’t hold his liquor well, which Keira found kind of cute.
He reached out and steadied himself against the wall next to him.
He had a clean-cut face, standing there with his eyes half-lowered. His features were pure
untouched.

Maybe because he was tipsy, there was a bit of sluggishness in his movements, but his classy demeanor was hard to miss.
Jordon explained, “It wasn’t a business party, just a get-together with friends. We all had a few
drinks.
“Since you’re here, I’ll hang back. Mr. Vaughan didn’t drink much, so you can give him some water and let him sit in the living room for a bit. He’ll bounce back.”
He handed Kamden over to Keira. Seeing her nod, he left.
The door slammed shut.
Keira helped Kamden sit on the shoe cabinet and said, “Kamden, let’s change your shoes.”
He did as he was told. Keira squatted on the floor, looking up at him with a smile in her eyes.
Little did she know that Kamden was watching her too, his gaze steady and a flicker of desire in his eyes.
“Kamden?”
Keira swallowed hard, and in that instant, the memory that had been locked away in her heart surged forth, washing away her thoughts like a wave.
What the hell! Her face flushed bright red and she instinctively took a step
back.
Kamden gently held her face.”Kiki.”

Keira let out a sigh of relief. He still recognized her.
That was fine.
She was terrified… Holy crap!
The gentle touch on her lips sent a jolt through Her, leaving her mind blank.
She tried to push him away, but Kamden was quicker.
He leaned in, scooped her up in his arms, and pressed her against the wall.

As if worried she might get cold, he even managed to free up a hand to place it between her and
the wall.
Cornered and with no escape, Keira’s mouth was covered, leaving her to emit only soft, desperate noises in an attempt to snap Kamden back to reality.
But instead, she got an even more intense kiss.
A loud buzz echoed in her mind, making it nearly impossible to think.
Her body went limp, and Kamden leaned in, holding her waist to help her stand.
