Keira stooped down, as if she was scolding a child.

Kamden’s eyes twinkled with amusement.

Besides, he seemed genuinely fine and really had no memory of the previous night.

“The ground is cold. Don’t go barefoot,” Kamden said, casually squatting down.

Her heart raced. Kamden got up and said, “I’ll make you something to eat.”

He casually rolled up his sleeves, his eyes half-lowered, catching the glimmers of light, like stars in the night sky.

Jordon thought hard and replied, “No.”
