She decided quickly and jumped up, but before she moved, Kamden’s rough voice from his hangover stopped her.
“When did you get back, Kiki?”
It was almost the same scene as last time.
Keira turned around stiffly, not able to look him in the eye.
She looked down at her own feet and said, “Kamden, you’re awake.”

Kamden had just gotten out of the shower, his hair still damp. When he was close, Keira could smell his unique, woody scent mixed with the fresh aroma of his body wash.
The fragrance was overpowering, and Keira subtly moved away from him.
She asked hesitantly, “How much did you drink last night? You were pretty tipsy when Jordon dropped you off. I almost had a tough time keeping you on your feet. Any of that ring a bell?” Kamden’s eyes flickered, like he was really trying to recall what happened last night.
