Chapter 113 Move Aside
Willow’s face grew paler by the second, and panic flickered in her eyes.
“I don’t understand what you’re talking about!”
“Is that so?”
Noelle continued to stare at her. The look in her eyes was so intense it shook Willow. She was clearly terrified that Noelle might have found something out.
Luckily, it didn’t last long–Noelle’s head slumped to the side, and she fainted.
Seeing that, Willow finally let out a sigh of relief.
“Mom, what did she mean by what she just said?” Viola asked curiously. “Didn’t you take her in all those years ago? What did she mean by saying you took her in on purpose?”
Willow’s expression stayed calm. “She’s just lost her mind, making up things to smear me. I’m your mother. You should know what kind of person I am.”
“Right now, what matters most teaching this ungrateful brat a lesson. Take her upstairs.”
Willow looked coldly at Noelle. As for the Kains shares, she would make sure Noelle gave them all back.
Meanwhile, at Kain Group…
Jasper received a package from Roman.
He opened the box and took out the painting inside.
The person Roman had asked him to find was the one in the painting.
As long as he found this person, he could finally get close to the Hallers and enter Kingstowne’s circle.
Jasper took out the painting, untied the ribbon, and slowly unrolled it.
“Mr. Kain!”
His assistant rushed in, interrupting Jasper’s thoughts.
Jasper had been staring at the painting in his hands. At the noise, he looked up. “What is it?”

“Mrs. Kain and Ms. Viola just came to the office. They took Ms. Noelle with them.” The assistant sounded anxious.
Jasper frowned. “Where did they go?”
“I’m not sure, but I overheard them mention a hotel…” The assistant spoke quickly. Jasper had told him to notify him about anything related to Noelle, so he had come straight away.
Jasper carefully put the painting back into its box and strode out of the office.
Noelle’s relationship with Willow and Viola had always been hostile. There was no way they would invite Noelle out of kindness.
There had to be something going on.
A sense of dread crept over him, and for the first time, Jasper felt worried that Noelle might get hurt.
He hurried toward the elevator, calling Viola as he went.
“Viola, where did you and Mom take Noelle?” His voice was tense.
On the other end, Viola quickly gave him the hotel address, her voice tinged with excitement she could barely hide, which only made Jasper more suspicious.
When he got to the hotel room, the sight in front of him made his heart sink–Viola was there, and even his father stood outside the door. Viola’s face was twisted with smug satisfaction.
“Where’s Noelle?” Jasper’s voice was icy cold.
“Jasper!” Viola stomped her foot in protest. “I’m your real sister! How can you come in here and only ask about her? That really hurts me!”
“I’m asking you, where is Noelle?” Jasper’s tone grew even colder.
Gresham frowned, displeased. “Is that any way to speak to your sister?”
Viola’s eyes filled with jealous tears, and she sounded almost gleeful as she said, “Noelle? She’s having a good time inside! There are several men keeping her company! I even set up a camera and recorded the whole thing! You’ll be able to watch it all in a moment, ha ha ha!”
Jasper’s eyes narrowed in shock. Without a second thought, he moved to break down the door.
Viola hurried to stop him. “Jasper! Don’t ruin this! She only just went in–wait until it’s over before you go in!”

“Ridiculous!” Jasper was furious. “Viola, how could you come up with something this cruel? Are you really the sister I know?”
“I’m only doing this to help you!” Viola protested loudly. “Noelle stole so many company shares. She’s just a tech school student–how can she be on equal footing with you? Once we have these pictures, she’ll have no choice but to hand over her shares!”
“If I’m going to take back the shares, I’ll do it properly. I would never use something so filthy!”
Jasper admitted he was far from a good person, but he would never stoop so low to deal with
a woman.
Gresham stroked his beard, his eyes gleaming as if the plan had caught his interest.
“Move,” Jasper said, shoving Viola aside and raising his foot to kick down the door.
But Gresham stepped in front of him.
“Dad?” Jasper was stunned.
“What’s the point of going in now?” Gresham said quietly. “It’s too late, and all you’ll see is a disgraceful scene. That would only push Noelle over the edge.
“If you can’t stop what’s happening, you should think about what’s best for Noelle. As long as she agrees to hand over her shares and behave herself, we’ll keep what happened today a secret and protect her reputation. It’ll be like nothing ever happened.”
Jasper’s eyes filled with disappointment. His father sounded so righteous, but he was no better than Viola.
Jasper shot a sharp look at the “family” in front of him, his voice cold as ice. “Move.”
“Jasper, calm down!” Gresham scolded, frowning “Maybe Viola went a little too far, but she did it for the Kains. Noelle doesn’t know her place, and she needs to be taught a lesson…”
