After dinner, they all walked out of the restaurant together, chatting and laughing. Noelle pushed Sebastian’s wheelchair as they went. When she was happy, she would pat his head. “Wow, honey, you’re so good to me. Then it’s settled! When we get back, you’ll make me something cold to drink!”

“Mmm” Sebastian nodded. She liked cold treats, but food from outside wasn’t always clean. It was safer to make it himself.

“In Riverdale, Noelle replied. “I just finished dinner and stepped out of the restaurant.”

There was a two–second pause. Then, Serena’s voice turned cold and eerie. “So, I wasn’t seeing things. The person pushing Sebastian around and calling him “honey” in that sweet voice was you.

Noelle was shocked.

Her brain exploded.

She instinctively looked around–left, right, front, and back. Then, she froze. At her three o’clock direction, under a large tree, Serena stood there, staring at her darkly.

Noelle watched as Serena ended the call, then started walking toward her–step by step.

Serena was coming fast with strong momentum, her expression sharp. Several bodyguards followed behind her. Sebastian and Lucas both frowned. Primo and Duo immediately shifted into a defensive stance.

Lucas lowered his voice and asked, “Isn’t that Alliance 749’s vice leader? Doesn’t she usually stay in Kingstowne? Why does she look like she’s here to start a fight? We didn’t offend her, did we?”

As Serena drew closer, it was clear she was coming straight for them. Lucas stepped forward. “Ms. Wynn.”

Serena didn’t even look at him. “You’re in the way. Move.”

Lucas’s brows knitted together, his expression turning cold. “What do you mean by that?”
