Chapter 213 Match Begins
Laughing, Troy snatched the tumbler and passed it to Noelle himself.
His over–the–top eagerness stunned the senior officials into silence.
Show–off? Hmph!
Troy made everyone else look inconsiderate.
Zeph stood behind his father, watching him flatter Noelle like crazy, his face full of disbelief.
Dad is trying way too hard!
Total suck–up!
Where’s my wise, powerful dad?
Everyone is watching. Doesn’t he feel embarrassed?

That was what Zeph thought, but he still flashed a wide smile. Then he bent down, pulled out a tiny fan, and placed it in front of Noelle. Somehow, he looked even more eager than Troy. “It’s really hot today, Boss. Don’t overheat! Here–cool breeze!”
The people nearby were speechless.
Sebastian went quiet.
Those two just stole his moment.
He shot Troy and Zeph a cold glance, face blank, eyes sharp enough to freeze the air.
Zeph shrank back a little, embarrassed, but stubbornly held on to the fan.
Troy acted like he didn’t notice at all, still grinning at Noelle and gripping the cute cup.
What are you staring at?
Hmph!
You’re just a punk trying to win over Boss!
Noelle took in the slightly ridiculous scene, amusement flickering in her eyes. She accepted the tumbler Sebastian had originally offered, took a small sip, then said lightly, “Enough. Sit down. The match is starting.”
“Yes, Boss!”
Just like that, Troy and Zeph straightened up and sat properly.
The senior officials wiped sweat from their brows. Only Noelle could keep those clowns in line, especially Troy and Zeph.
Thanks to her, Invictus Alliance and IBI had practically become family overnight.
And since Noelle had taken Elliot to the Invictus Alliance all week, the bond was even tighter. Their people all came to watch

today’s fight.
They were curious as well. After a week of training under Noelle, what had Elliot become?
If Elliot lost, Noelle might be embarrassed.
The referee stepped up and announced the match would begin in three minutes.
“Mrs. Menzie, I’ll go up first.”
Elliot bowed respectfully to Noelle.
She nodded. “Go ahead. Don’t overthink it. Use what I taught you. You’ll be fine.”
Eden added warmly, “Elliot, you’ve got this! I believe in you!”
“If you can’t beat that guy, you might as well quit IBI and go home,” Zeph snapped. “Fight hard. Don’t embarrass Invictus Alliance. We gave you a full week, didn’t we? Now go crush that punk!”
His words were sharp, but he was clearly cheering Elliot on.
Elliot had trained at Invictus Alliance for a full week. They’d slowly become friends.
Of course, Zeph wanted him to win.
Elliot ignored Zeph. He looked at Eden first, then held Noelle’s gaze for a long moment. He took a deep breath, turned, and walked toward the ring.
With all eyes on him, his back looked steady and unshakable.
Three minutes passed. The referee motioned for both sides to step forward.
Braxton sized Elliot up and snorted. “Trying to act tough? Let’s see how fast you break.”
Elliot didn’t respond. He followed protocol and bowed.
“Start!”
The instant the ref finished speaking, Braxton exploded forward like a beast, fist ripping through the air straight toward Elliot’s face.
He wanted to finish the match fast and smash Elliot in front of everyone, especially Noelle.
Bang!
But Elliot didn’t go flying off the ring.
His footwork shifted. He slid half a step aside, smooth and ghostlike, barely dodging the brutal punch.
At the same time, his arm curled softly, hooking Braxton’s wrist. A sharp, precise force pulsed out.
Braxton felt a shock. His wrist went numb, strength draining away. His charge faltered.
“What?!”
