Chapter 226 Their Ending
“Even if I die, I’ll drag you down with me!” Gresham shouted, rage twisting his face.
He had that disgusting disease.
He wanted Noelle to get it as well.
But before he could get close, Sebastian lifted his foot and kicked him back.
Gresham hit the wall hard, coughing up blood.
“Seems like you’ve got a death wish.”
Sebastian shielded Noelle, eyes cold enough to freeze anyone.
His voice was flat. “Since you’re so eager to die, I’ll give you the chance.”
He made a signal. Two bodyguards stepped in and hauled Gresham away.
“No… you can’t do this!” Gresham struggled, panicked. “Noelle! I’m your father!”
Noelle turned slowly, calm and unreadable. “Someone like you doesn’t deserve to be my father.”
She looked at Sebastian. “Take him to where he belongs.”
Three days later, a psychiatric hospital on the outskirts got a new special patient.
Gresham spent all day strapped to a bed, sometimes crying, sometimes cursing.
The staff knew he had a weird habit–he kept repeating one line.
“I’m the chairman of Kain Group…”
Too bad nobody remembered the Kain Group anymore.
Meanwhile, Noelle dumped the crippled Elmer to fend for himself on the streets, surviving by begging.
The Kains were finished.
Jasper, however, disappeared without a trace.
Far away in Kingstowne, Viola learned what had happened to her family.

She didn’t feel any sympathy. If anything, she thought it would be perfect if they all died. Then no one would ever expose her birth
secret.
“Charlotte?”
A knock pulled her back. She quickly set down her phone, rushed to the door, and called, “Coming! Mom!”
Mary stood there, warm and gentle. She ruffled Viola’s hair affectionately. “Bored at home? Let’s go shopping. Kingstowne University is about to start. Let’s get you some nice outfits.”

Since Viola returned, Mary seemed brighter, softer, and happier.
Viola slipped her arm through Mary’s and smiled. “Sure! Thanks, Mom. You’re the best!”
“Good girl,” Mary said softly.

Noelle was about to study at Kingstowne University.
Of course, Sebastian would be with her.
So all of them moved to Kingstowne.
Gus and the other staff came along as well.
Melrose Manor was closed for now, leaving only a few caretakers behind.
Lucas went as well. He followed wherever Sebastian went.
When they arrived, the Menzies got the news.
“Mr. Sebastian has arrived in Kingstowne. Looks like he plans to settle here.” The butler smiled, seeing Theodore’s lips curve. “You must be happy, right?”
“Don’t talk nonsense. I’m not.”
Theodore’s mouth flattened right immediately.
The butler was left speechless.
He glanced at Ethan nearby. “Mr. Ethan-”
“I’m not happy either.”
Ethan’s mouth stayed tight. He turned and walked away.
The butler went silent.
Heh. These two are the same, proud as ever.
Soon, the first day at Kingstowne University arrived.
Sebastian and Lucas walked Noelle to campus.
Kevin came as well.
Months at Alliance 749 had made him steadier and sharper, though he still had that dark, brooding vibe.
He bowed respectfully to Noelle. “Boss.”
Noelle nodded. “Settling in okay at the alliance?”

“Very well,” Kevin said, eyes shining with gratitude. “Thanks for giving me the chance.”
“Kevin!” Helen called out happily.
He looked at her, his gaze softening. “Hello, Helen.”
Lucas leaned over, teasing. “Wow, Kevin is looking sharper than ever.”
The group stepped into Kingstowne University and immediately drew stares.

Sebastian was cold and noble, Noelle stunning and icy, Lucas smooth and playful, and Kevin clean–cut and steady. They turned heads instantly.
“Who are they? Freshmen? She’s gorgeous!”
“The guy beside her is hot! Is he a celebrity?”
“I’m so jealous–three handsome guys with one girl!”
“This world is so unfair. She gets three, and I don’t even have one!”
Chatter spread, but Noelle didn’t notice. She went straight to the medical school check–in.
“Hi, I’m here to register.”
“H–Hello.” The upperclassman managing sign–ins stammered, flustered. “P–Please show your acceptance letter.”
Noelle handed it over. Their fingers brushed, and his ears turned red.
Lucas chuckled at the scene. “Oh man, Noelle has got real influence. Sebastian, feeling the heat yet?”
