Chapter 512 Alone in the Dark Alley
Before Noelle could speak, Lucas stepped in front of her.
He looked at Jasper coldly, a mocking smile tugging at his lips.
“You? Get lost.”
Jasper’s face darkened.

“Tell us where Sebastian is. That’s the only help you can give,” Lucas said, slowly and clearly. “Otherwise, stay away from Noey. You’re nothing but trouble.”
Jasper said nothing, but his hand tightened into a fist at his side.
Noelle didn’t look at him. She walked straight to her car.
The engine roared. The black SUV pulled into the night.
Serena glanced at Jasper, let out a cold laugh, and drove off too.
Jasper stood there in silence for a few seconds.
Then he turned, got into his car, and said, “Follow them.”
Gunner froze. He didn’t expect Jasper to still chase after them.
This was getting a little pathetic.
“Boss…” he started.
“Follow,” Jasper said, his voice cold.
Gunner swallowed the rest of his words and didn’t dare argue. He started the car and followed from a distance.
Birch Street.
The night was thick, like black ink.
There were no streetlights in the alley. Only a few dim windows glowed faintly.
Water pooled on the ground. Every step made a soft splash..
As soon as Noelle’s car reached the alley entrance, her phone rang.
An unknown number flashed on the screen.
She answered.
Viola’s voice came through, unable to hide her excitement and madness. “Noelle, how many people did you bring?”
1/3.

Noelle’s voice was calm. “Didn’t you say I should come alone?”
“I don’t trust you,” Viola laughed. “Roll down your window. Let me see.”
Noelle said nothing. She pressed the button.
The window slid down, revealing her cold profile.
Deep inside the alley, in a broken building, Viola held a cheap pair of binoculars. She stared at the black SUV.
Only one person inside.
In the driver’s seat, Noelle sat alone, expressionless.
Viola watched for a long time. When she was sure no one else was there, she finally relaxed.

“Good girl,” she said with a laugh. Her voice echoed in the empty room, creepy and sharp. “Get out and walk forward. I’m on the third floor. Don’t try anything or else-”
She didn’t finish, but the meaning was clear.
Noelle hung up and pushed the door open.
The night wind lifted her hair. She stood in the alley and looked up at the dark building.
On the third floor, a shadow flickered past a window.
Noelle lowered her gaze and walked in.
She reached the third floor.
The door was slightly open. A dim yellow light leaked out.
She pushed it open.
“Don’t move.”
A cold gun pressed against her temple.
Out of the corner of her eye, she saw a bulky man holding the gun. His face was rough, his eyes cruel.
Inside the room, Mary was tied to an old wooden chair. Her hands were bound behind her back. A rag was stuffed in her mouth.
When she saw Noelle, she shook her head wildly. Tears covered her face. She made muffled sounds, trying to warn her.
Viola stood behind Mary, holding a gun.
“Noelle, you finally showed up.”
Noelle said nothing. She just looked at her.
Viola waited, but she didn’t get the fear or begging she wanted. Her smile faded for a moment.
“Take off your clothes,” she said.

Noelle didn’t move.
Viola’s smile widened. She raised her gun and aimed at Mary’s head–bang!
The butt of the gun slammed hard into Mary’s forehead.
Blood burst out at once, running down her face.
Mary groaned. Her body shook. Tied to the chair, she had nowhere to hide. She could only take the blow.
Noelle’s breathing stopped for a second.
She looked at the wound on Mary’s forehead. The blood blurred her vision. Her body trembled in pain.
Then Noelle looked away and turned to Viola.
Her eyes were calm. Too calm.
Noelle raised her hands and began to take off her coat.
One piece. Then another.
The coat fell to the floor. Then her sweater. In the end, she was left in a thin tank top and pants.
ola stared at her, then burst out laughing.
aughter echoed in the empty room, sharp and harsh..
toelle, oh Noelle. Look at you now!” she laughed, bending over. “Weren’t you always so high and mighty? Always looking down on people? And now? You’re doing exactly what I say!”
le stood there, silent, expressionless, just watching her.
After laughing, Viola wiped the tears from her eyes, her face full of pride.
“Guess you’re nothing special after all. Take off your clothes, and you’re no different from a stray dog.”
Mary struggled desperately. Tears mixed with blood on her face. She made muffled sounds through the gag.
Noelle didn’t look at her. She only looked at Viola.
“I’m here,” she said calmly. “Let her go.”
