Chapter 90 Wait and See

“No,” Noelle replied casually. “I study at Riverdale Tech School.”

Madeline, Alina, and Yvette were all stunned when they heard that.

They never expected Noelle to be a student at a tech school.

When they heard Noelle say that Madeline could ask her questions she didn’t understand, they had assumed Noelle’s grades must be excellent.

“I know what I’m saying may not sound nice,” Alina added. “If you think I’m meddling, I won’t say more.”

Noelle smiled. “I know you’re saying this because you care about me. But I will never leave him. He has his flaws and strengths, but to me, he is more charming and greater than any other man. In my heart, he is the best man in the world.”

Alina pressed her lips together when she saw Noelle’s firm expression and did not try to persuade her further. She chose to respect Noelle’s decision.

But when she looked into Noelle’s bright, shining eyes, she froze for a moment and could not help thinking of someone else.

They took a private jet back to Riverdale. Sebastian thoughtfully prepared plenty of food and drinks for Noelle. He also downloaded variety shows and TV dramas onto a tablet computer, worried she might get bored.

Noelle watched it with Lucas. They both held chips and juice, laughing so loudly that their voices filled the whole plane.

Sebastian, however, calmly sat nearby and read through documents.

After fooling around for over an hour, Noelle and Lucas finally fell asleep. They leaned back in their seats and slept soundly.

After Sebastian finished his work, he saw them like this and shook his head helplessly.

“Primo, please bring two blankets,” he said softly.

Primo quietly brought the blankets. Sebastian took one and gently covered Noelle with it.

He tucked the blanket below her neck and carefully pressed it down. Then he took a tissue and wiped the chip crumbs from the corner of her mouth. Just as he was about to pull his hand away, Noelle moved. Her small face rubbed against his arm.

Sebastian’s hand froze.

He looked at Noelle for a long time. Even in her sleep, she looked dazed, yet she instinctively relied on him.

Lucas was still asleep beside them, his cap pulled over his face and one leg bent. He looked lazy and carefree, breathing steadily.

In the end, Sebastian lightly brushed Noelle’s cheek with his fingertips and slowly lowered his hand.

Primo covered Lucas with the other blanket. When he returned to Duo’s side, he found that Duo had also fallen asleep, his head tilted back and even snoring. Primo shook his head with a smile and went to get another blanket to cover Duo.

Duo seemed to be having a sweet dream and even smiled in his sleep.

He walked into Sebastian’s room, wore Sebastian’s pajamas, used Sebastian’s towel, and slept under Sebastian’s blanket.

“Hey, you’re underage. Don’t look,” Lucas said to Noelle, who was leaning against the door with an unhappy face. “Sebastian and I are going to do embarrassing things. If you watch, your eyes will hurt!”
